The Yatri House was a lovely place to stay in Delhi. It is right in the center of town, near the Metro and not far from Connaught Place. The rooms are clean and spacious, with a safe in the closet, WiFi and large LCD televisions. The bed was comfortable as well. The hotel itself had a small lounge with another... more

It's Delhi, so you're always going to pay more here than you would anywhere else. In other parts of India, you'll get much, much more for the price you pay here. However, the room was immaculate and very big. The bed was really comfortable. It's right in the middle of Delhi, but down a very quiet residential street so you... more

We were met at the airport and what a welcome sight that nameboard was. In the heat and dust and traffic of Delhi the Yatri is a pretty Oasis and we were rewarded with a quiet nights sleep and bountiful breakfast. The new Metro is a mere 5 mins walk away and makes the Yatri a great location. The room... more

After three hectic weeks of backpacking around India, my boyfriend and I were looking forward to a QUIET, CLEAN hotel in Delhi. Yatri was a GREAT find!! For a reasonable price (compared to other Delhi) hotels, we got a fantastic room in a great location. The reservation process (called Sanjay, the owner) was simple and easy. Our room was clean... more

My husband and I made our first ever trip to India at the end of August/beginning of September. We flew into Delhi and spent our first two nights at Yatri. After 10 days of train travel (Jaipur, Agra, Varanasi), we stayed for one last night at Yatri before our departure home. The location is convenient to the Main Bazaar and... more

Reading some of the reviews about Yatri House feels like people are talking about a different place. How can Lonely Planet say such wonderful words about it?? There is nothing good about this place: my room was incredibly dirty, a broken armchair, a wardrobe so close to the bed that the doors could not be open, the air conditioning was... more

A good mid-range guest house not far from the centre of New Delhi. The owner and staff were very helpful and very welcoming. The guest house is quite close to the Delhi metro (quicker and cheaper than autorickshaws). It is only a couple of minutes walk from the Main Bazaar road. And above all, its quiet at night - a... more

Quiet location in the middle of everything in Delhi. Great staff and owner. Mature travelers from around the world as guests. Service, meals, cleanliness, and quality of rooms were impressive. The owner and his family live upstairs (but all guest rooms have separate entrance and privacy), and the friendly staff are always milling about for any questions or assistance you... more

While in Udaipur, I made a reservation for Yatri house about 5 days in advance. The woman over the phone informed me that our reservation was made and confirmed and to call to confirm our hotel taxi pick-up from the bus station before we arrived back in Delhi. 1 hour from Delhi I called to inform them of my time... more

Modern room in a good location just off a main road. Staff are friendly and not over bearing as they are in some Indian hotels. Decent breakfast. Not the cheapest place but it's worth paying the extra if you want somewhere close to the centre that is clean and of a good standard. more
