5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW via mobile

Originally I stayed here because my partner liked this hotel due to its peaceful and tranquil nature but since staying here a few times I have now been won over. The Art Deco suites are lovely. The pool area has been completely redone and the pool is now much bigger. The service is very efficient and the breakfast buffet is... More

Our second visit to the Imperial. Don't be put off by the fact that it's the most obvious place to stay in Delhi. It's well-placed (right opposite Government Cottage Industries), has got an interesting and elegant facade and grounds, and several features that are rather better than is usual in first class hotels: first, superb prints of 18th and 19th... I am not a great fan of old school hotels but in Imperial's case I make an exception. The Imperial is truly amazing hotel and location excellent. Walking distance to Connaught Place, major shopping streets in Central New Delhi just around the corner and Central Cottage Industries Emporium on the other side of street. It is easy to catch Uber... More

I stayed at The Imperial the first time last week and I went with a lot of expectations. To my amazement, my expectations were completely met. Right from the doorman to the room attendants. They all were all so good. I enjoyed the exotic food and service at 1911 which is their all day dining outlet. Will certainly come back... More

Very nice and gorgeous hotel, staff very kind as usual for 5 star Indian hotel, the price for what you get is not worth it. - rooms are very small with no windows almost - food is absolutely crap ! they better get a good chef - the wall in front of the treadmill in the gym is falling apart... The Imperial in Delhi is a beautiful building full or beautiful art works. I recently stayed there with my husband and two children, we loved the style, service and ambience. The rooms were very elegant but our only issue was that we were on the ground floor near a stair case that lead down from the staff quarters so from... More

The staff in this hotel are friendly, efficient and courteous, going out of their way to help me connect to the (rather strange) wifi numerous times and replacing my lost key card in the early hours of the morning. Note - there is no free wifi, you need to get a code from reception, which seemed a little unusual to... More

We stayed here for our first two nights of our trip in India. The room are big and spacious and the facilities (including complimentary yoga) all very good. The staff are friendly and helpful but if you have just arrived then be ready they expect a tip! Food was excellent and lots of restaurants to choose from.

As a British citizen, the prospect of staying at The Imperial Hotel was almost irresistible. In fact, the hotel is so reminiscent of the British Raj, you could be forgiven for thinking we only moved out yesterday. The hotel is opulent and beautifully decorated, as you would expect, and the staff are dressed so impeccably that, arriving slight the worse... More
