Don't let the name and photos of this hotel fool you. It was a shock to the system when we arrived, but we accepted what we got and made the most of it. Breakfast was included in our rate but I suggest you give this a miss. I've never come across a hotel that uses newspapers instead of table cloths... More

We didn't have much good to say about this place. A lot of minor irritations combined with the noise at night made for a generally unenjoyable stay. A lot of the issues people have mentioned here previously we too found to be valid! The room stunk of mothballs, though it appeared as in the photos and the room itself was... More

Dirty, expensive for what they offer, rude staff, noisy. Different pictures from reality. The breakfast room is in the basement, without windows and the tables where was placed a very poor buffet, are covered with dirty old newspaper. The district where the hotel is located is not safe. That was the worst experience in one month trip to India.

On our first visit to Delhi we stopped in a backpackers hotel (Amax Inn) before flying to Goa and decided whilst there that on our return to Delhi we to upgrade to the Palm Dor in the belief that if we paid more we would get more! To be fair to some extent we did.The room was better appointed and... More

Hotel is clean but very basic. Rooms are spacious, mine was without a window which benefitted my sleep. Rooms and shower a bit smelly. Breakfast is basic, but that's common I discovered during the rest of my time in India. Location is close to the Delhi station, easy to reach and find. Not very conveniently located to visit New Delhi.... More

After reading fairly positive reviews we booked this hotel for a few nights whilst sightseeing in Delhi - executive room with airport pick up. However we must have been given the worst room in the hotel according to the positive reviews on booking.com/tripadvisor. No airport pick up and no suite. The room had no window and was tiny, the fabric... More

Having looked for a reasonably priced hotel in Delhi as they all seem overpriced and with excessive stars. We elected on the Palm d'or as it was close to the railway, metro and was listed as a 3 star. They do a collect from the airport, which is great on the face of things but no one was about to... We booked on booking.com and was expecting a better hotel. It is very close to the fly over and new delhi railway station. We had the executive suite which entailed no window in the room or bathroom. We were offered another room however it would be the same just with a window. Breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. There... More

This hotel is in Paharganj, the noisiest and busiest part of New Delhi. We arrived by train from Jaipur and were not too enthused about being back in Delhi which (frankly) smells awful and has massively serious traffic/pollution issues which make London traffic look like a walk in the park - must take years off the lives of the locals.... This decent hotel situated just near New Delhi Railway Station and walkable distance from Station.Reasonably priced rooms are air conditioned and with comfortable living space. There is good restaurant in hotel and room service also there.Food served was good.Staff are very cooperative and helpful. You will never miss family as you are connected by wifi free of cost.
