I have read the other reviews of this homestay and glad they liked it. We found it somewhat less charming. The hosts were okay but did have family staying which obviously made us feel intrusive. The dog barked a lot during the night in answer to the surrounding dogs and maybe it was just for our amusement but the house... More

We stayed for just one night. I just thought we'd try a homestay while we were in India and we arrived here straight off the overnight plane from London. We were due to leave to catch another plane at 2:30 the following morning so it could hardly have been the best of jobs for our host who had to get... More

Stayed for 2 nights between 5 and 8 March 2014 as part of a 3 week tour of North and South India - it was a base from which we took a number of varied excursions during our stay The Homestay is situated in a relatively quiet residential area in South Delhi with access from a busy commercial street through... A two night stay here at the start of our first trip to India was the best thing we could have done. A lovely house with wonderful hosts. Our room was comfortable and spotless together with the en suite bathroom. We ate in on both nights. The food was amazing and so resonable. We enjoyed our stay there and would... More

We stayed here for a total of 5 nights and Kiran and JP made us very welcome as if we were family and not guests. The food was amazing (the breakfast parathas were so tasty) and the rooms were extremely clean. Nothing was too much trouble even when we arrived in the middle of the night after a travel delay.... We enjoyed three nights at Aashiyan when we first arrived in India. It was ideal starting our travels in such a welcoming, well looked after and friendly home. The room was very comfortable with a heater to take off the occasional evening chill. Plenty of beautiful steaming hot and flavoursome soups and curries and lovely desserts. Well located, easy to... We returned back yesterday from a two week holiday which included staying with Kiran and JP for three nights. On our first night in India they introduced us to their traditional cooking style which we have to say exceeded most of the other hotels we stayed in during the trip. We hadn't realised they offered dinner and therefore when we... More

We stayed here for three nights during our 21 day tour and can honestly say, this was a wonderful experience. Kiran made us so welcome and treated us like good friends, not guests. Nothing was too much trouble. I had problems with my cell phone and she sorted it out even offering me the use of hers in the meantime.... More

My wife, ten-year old son, and I stayed at Aashiyan in November 2013. The owners, Kiran and JP, were very friendly and professional. The house is lovely, and it's in a quiet neighborhood, so it felt like a refuge after the all the hustle-bustle of Delhi. The rates included breakfast, and it was good. But the dinner was amazing. Whatever... More
