The rooms where to an ok standard, perfect for a backpacker. This review is more about the owners, they are the nicest people iv met in India and... More

First of all, don't expect clean rooms in India. 95% hotels have dirty sheets. So rooms weren't clean and poor in general. However location is perfect. Right in the heart of noisy Paharganj main bazaar. Hot shower, tv, wifi (again typical in India) that doesn't work. Staff is helpful and gives great tips. For the price it's pretty good, but... More

Arriving at the airport I was immediately greeted by a man holding a sign with my name on it thanks to a pre-arranged pick up, recommended for first timers. The driver told me about a few various sights on the trip to the hotel and was happy to answer my questions through some very broken English. Once arriving at 7am... More

On the main bazaar in Paharganj, quite noisy at night due to the location. Good hot shower, OK room, but we had very loud guests shouting in the hotel all night so checked out and moved to a nicer hotel for the same price – Ajay Guest House. All in all, OK for arrival to settle but you can get... More

This hotel was a great location, on the main bazaar. Rooms were basic and clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Staff advised not to stay out too late in that area, and gave us a laptop to watch the soccer game so we weren't out late at night.

If your plan is to stay out during the day and come back only to sleep, this would be the place for you. It has hot water, comfortable enough beds, the staff is very nice and hepful. The location us very close to a metro station, a lot of restaurants and shops.

I stayed in Hotel Payal in November and I was really happy with how it went. It was my first time in India and the boys there were extremely helpful and full of advice. I had dinner with a couple who ended up changing to Payal because they weren't getting the same treatment at their place. India can be daunting... More

Stayed at Payal for three nights and enjoyed it very much! The guys that run the place are super nice and helpful, even offering me food at one point. The location is great, situated in the heart of New Delhi and a step outside leads you right to a big strip of shops and restaurants. Transport is very accessible with... More
