I had initially found this hotel on tripadvisor while looking for budget accomodation in Delhi. I travelled with a group of friends, we booked in advance and organised for airport pick up as well, which was a great help as it helped us avoid all the usual airport touts which from experience elsewhere can be very annoying, this service is... Hotel Payal is an awesome place to stay in Delhi. I came here when i first arrived and have stayed here twice since then! It's a great budget option in an area where everything is happening. The staff made me feel really welcome and helped me with so many things, booking train tickets, recommending great places to eat, everything! And... More

This hotel was our first stop on a ten day trip travelling round Rajasthan and Utter Prudesh. Initially we had booked three nights here but from the advice on one of the young men, Vicky who part runs the hostel we changed our itinerary slightly. I was dubious about staying here due to the mixed reviews but for the price... More

We had low expectations about new Delhi , although we were travelling on a budget this was by far the cheapest accom on our travels of two weeks in India. If you are looking for a cheap bed and good service this is the place to stay, awesome top level balcony views of the main bazaar nice to relax up... More

I had stayed here with parents when they had visited Delhi. For this price, the hotel is really better than others in same price range. Though the overall experience was average, some of the positives were good staff, low price and decent food. The negatives are bad maintainance and small rooms.

I can say that it has value for money. they arranged the airport pickup on time. But only disappointing thing is that it has been mentioned as AC room while booking standard room.... More

Payal was our first stay at all on a longer Asia trip, so when we arrived we were not yet used to India.. The hotel is average, so you shouldn't expect a castle. We have been wondering a lot about the different opinions people have in the reviews here. I think the reason is that one of the rooms are... More

The rooms where to an ok standard, perfect for a backpacker. This review is more about the owners, they are the nicest people iv met in India and... More

First of all, don't expect clean rooms in India. 95% hotels have dirty sheets. So rooms weren't clean and poor in general. However location is perfect. Right in the heart of noisy Paharganj main bazaar. Hot shower, tv, wifi (again typical in India) that doesn't work. Staff is helpful and gives great tips. For the price it's pretty good, but... More
