I arrived at Royal Plaza only to find out that my bag is missing from the taxi which I took from Grand hotel. I thank Mr Sandeep who helped me in tracing out my lost baggage. The hotel from what I have seen is excellent and I am extremely happy that I chose this hotel. My stay here at the... More

It has a grand reception and the first sight of the reception itself can build expectations of the quality of the stay. But that was not the case. This was the first hotel that took almost 20 mins for completing the check-in formalities (while we were the only guests at the reception) and also deducted the amount from my credit... More

Hotel seemed clean on arrival, bathroom had a funny smell. Was tired and on business so got in to bed whilst working. Could feel things biting me, after calling house keeping they sprayed the room. Next morning informed them that things in the bed were biting me, after a long day returned to hotel was told situation had been checked.... More

We stayed here twice during our saty in India and its a great place to stay. The enrty with its grand murals on the ceiling and marble everywhere enhances the ambience of the hotel. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Food is good though a little on the expensive side as are drinks etc. Compared to some of the other... More

I arrived at the Royal Plaza to be greeted by a tall uniformed and turban wearing gentleman who welcomed me to the hotel. After going through a security check I entered the reception area that is very grand with painted murals on the ceiling and marble everywhere. Unfortunately the receptionist did not deliver the anticipated service! The booking details were... More

Its a nice hotel, both for vacation as well as business. The service is quick, the menu rates are expensive though, typical to its high star rating. The Wifi is not strong enough in the rooms - at least I had that problem.

The Hotel The Royal Plaza is decorated extravagantly, filled with marble statues, some of which are behind Plexiglas because they are supposedly genuine antiques. It bills itself as a five-star hotel, and its amenities generally meet the required standard, but I experienced small failings that could be resolved with better management and the attention to detail that should be characteristic... If you're a business person and you don't want to pay the top whack of the Shangri La and le Meriddean but need to be in central Delhi the Royal Plaza works well. Everything is international standard, staff are great, food is fine - can't complain. The decor is a crisis of liberace meets bollywood - the lobby is full... More

Standard rooms tiny, suite was so cold and bathrooms need major refurb. The pool area ok but no one seemed to go in pool, we felt this may have been due to the close proximity of the pool to the reception and lobby area, so it felt busy and overlooked. The incessant loud music didn't help the ambiance . The service in reception... More
