My children and I stayed one night last week. When we first arrived all you could smell at the entrance was cigarettes where an office employee was smoking right at the entrence. I rushed my kids inside and had to wait until the employee got done with her smoke break. The phone was ringing off the hook and when the... More

We again stayed here on our way south. What a surprise not the same as our first experience. The room was not clean the people at desk were not friendly. Maybe management has changed or the cost of maintaining has risen, but it was really not as good a stop as before.

We had an ok stay at this motel. We got back to our room at about 830. We walked to shoneys and had dinner. went back to room and kept hearing a dog bark. I called front office and they said they'd check it out. layed down in bed and kept hearing the dog. I went outside of room and... More

We seen a sign right outside the hotel from the highway listings 1 lower price and when we went to check in they told us a much higher price. When we asked about the discount on the sign that's when the woman reluctantly gave it to us and said that they don't apply the discount unless asked to. Wow

Melanie (I may not have spelled it correctly) went above and beyond helping with my elderly parents overnight visit. Helped them resolve their television issues and telephone problem. Excellent, caring and sincere interest in helping their guests. Thank you.

Easy access to I-65 AND next door to Shoney's, what more could you want.. I travel I-65 from Fl. to Ky. frequently and this is our favorite stop when southbound. Staff is friendly and accomodating. We've never had any problems with rooms or noise. The Inn used to be part of Shoney chain, I think, and is next door to... More

Miranda at Inn of Clanton was very helpful with accommodating my Bass Club this weekend. We showed up Thursday to pre-fish and the Inn experienced a pipe bursting and putting some of the most favorable room out of commission. They went to great links to put us so that we could get power and see our boats some of us... More

Let me preface this by explaining that I am a fisherman with a boat and as such it is important for a variety of reasons to be able to park your boat near your motel room and have electricity available to charge the batteries. To those unfamiliar, a bass boat has 3 or 4 batteries that must be charged overnight... More

Friendly staff, always eager to make guest comfortable. Rooms are always clean. Have stayed here several times, never disappointed. Good value. Shoney's, gas station, and Pecan Store right there, across parking lot. Located near interstate, easy off and on.

This hotel is exactly what it intends to be - a waypoint for weary travelers, many of whom are traveling to and from the Gulf. This is the halfway point between the Gulf coast and Tennessee, so it was perfect. Very, very reasonable rate <$70, hot shower, pretty clean room, comfortable bed. Turns out they are pet-friendly too at $6/pet/night.... More
