This place is a rare find. A good place to decompress with it's breathe taking views. Each day you can see a variety of toucans, humming birds, parrots and many other birds. The rooms are spotless with plenty of clean hot water. The food is prepared with the numerous herbs grown around the hotel. The owner Caesar was there all... More

We stayed there for 2 nights (out and back from Bocas del Toro). The place is great, restaurant is good, people are very nice, especially the owner, allways making sur all is to our best comfort. There is a nice pool, babyfoot, ping pong and pool table. It's about 15 min from Almirante. The only down side would be the... More

After a long drive we found this beautiful place up the hill in Almirante! Great welcoming staff. Rooms extremely clean. He even offered to switch on the lights at the pool if we wanted to go swimming at night after we arrived very late. wonderful view. The food was good. He even helped us organizing a trip to the chocolate... More

Bocas Ridge looked like a nice place up an interesting road. Unfortunately the prices advertised on their website and confirmed by a check on Expedia were not honored on arrival today. We gave them the opportunity but they insisted Peak season rates were in effect...nowhere mentioned on their website. So, being mobile, we moved on to an affordable alternative. It's... More

While the location is isolated, it is a really nice spot. Having our own car is a major benefit as it allowed us to tour the area. If you want to stay on the mainland, Bocas Ridge is probably the only place you would want to stay. The people that worked there were great and the owner (Ceasar) made sure... More

Things we wish we knew when we booked this hotel. This is not in the main town where all the action is. Do not fly into Bocas airport it is a waste but fly into Changuinola which is a quick drive away. Just as the other reviewers wrote this hotel is isolated and in the mountains. You would think that... More

The hotel is located on a hill and is VERY far from everywhere. There is NOTHING around it. The view is great though. It does not have access to any beach and to get to the closest beach you have to spend at least 16$. The room was clean and comfortable. The food was VERY BAD! The staff are friendly.... More

This hotel is located a bit isolated, on top of a hill between Almirante and Changuinola. We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the friendly staff, helping us finding a nice tour for the day (the cacao farm) and negotiating for a taxi to the Costa Rican border. The hotel can use green to give it more charm. The price and... More

Located between Changuinola and Almirante, this hotel has breathtaking views and wonderful cuisine. It is near the Changuinola reservoir and surrounding Ngabe communities - ideal if you aim to do some ethno-tourism, hiking, or just disconnecting from stress and your day-to-day worries while remaining grounded in the world.
