My husband and I stayed at Al Natural in November 2014. My feelings about the experience are very mixed. I'll list the pros and cons so readers can make informed choices: PROS: The huts were really special. Simple, but special. We stayed in the Natural House, which is the original hut built at Al Natural. It was the "cheapest" hut... More

Al Natural is a completely different experience from any other hotel or resort you've ever stayed at. It's a nature immersion perfect for those looking to escape from everything for a while (yes, there's no wifi here!) When you arrive you're welcomed by the energetic Abner, a fun, friendly and hard working guy who is there for anything that you... More

what a place... amazing resort run by a great group of staff. though the office worker on Isla Colon wasnt all that friendly the staff at the resort on Isla Bastimentos made you feel very welcome from the moment you arrive with a warm 'welcome to paradise' from Adner greeting you off the boat. though definitely not luxury travel, the... We visited Al Natural at the end of August for five nights. You know you have arrived at the right place when Abner meets your boat at the dock and exclaims with open arms, "Welcome to paradise guys!" Paradise it is and you are free to do absolutely nothing or ask to go snorkeling, to see sloths, or get a... More

This is the real deal. Abner and Vincent and their whole staff made this remote, 5 star resort a once in a lifetime experience. This place is completely off the beaten track - a completely international, genuine, and incredible adventure vacation destination. Don't book this resort if you are looking for manicured gardens and a spa. But DO book into... More

This is the first review I've ever written on TripAdvisor. Al natural resort was such a unique place I feel compelled to share my experience with others looking to find a little piece of unspoilt paradise. If you're looking for an ultra luxurious resort with all the mod cons and pampering then this isn't the place for you. There is... More

Stayed for two nights, loved the hut and the (almost private) view over the sea when waking up. Loved chatting with international guests and host from Honduras during breakfast, lunch or dinner (Dinner is very good (also the other meals): high standard, especially at this location, wine included). We did a nice trip to a local village (they offer multiple... More

phenomenal location- remote jungle island on the beach. incredible accomodations- we had large single room with 3 beds, one wall open for perfect ocean view. the most lovely support staff- genuinely nice local workers. amazing meals- three times a day. rained a bit every day, but never held us back. vincent was great host, non-intrusive. only holds 22 guests, so... This place is in between the jungle and the beach and your bungalow doesn't have any windows so you are in sync with nature. This is a truly amazing experience though, the location couldn't be better, it is very isolated (which i enjoyed, i do not like over crowded places) the bungalows are all right on the ocean. We had... More
