If you can live without a hairdryer and want to see baby aligators (caimens) in the mangrove stream in the light of your flashlight plus have great service and attention then go here. My son and I stayed three nights here; we had the two story non superior bungalow. It was superior. Waves lapping practically at our feet... Beds were... more

First and foremost, the staff working at Al Natural during our trip were top notch. They were very personable. My partner and I felt like they were close friends from the very beginning. Without the wonderful people managing Al Natural, I don't think our experience would have been as amazing as it was. The people from "El Capitan" who picked... more

Our two families stayed for 3 nites in August and enjoyed ourselves even though the weather was truly rotten, with only 1 afternoon of sunshine the 1st day. We had the 3-bedroom house (huge deck area) and 1 of the superior houses (truly romantic). The upside: - Beautiful setting with great views and easy access to a gorgeous stretch of... more

My husband and I went for 7 days for our honeymoon and loved it! The Great: - view from our bed - the kayaking (lots of coral nearby) - the manager Martin was most helpful - they picked us up at the airport as promised (as was everyone that stayed while we were there) - lots to do if you... more

We arrived at the Bocas airport and our handler, Cesar, was waiting with a smile. We were then taken to the Al Natural office/dock where, after a short wait, were taken through the beautiful mangroves of Basimentos to the Al Natural dock. Our bungalow was clean and comfortable and included a ceiling fan over our bed (Superior Bungalow is a... more

Stupid me. I wasn't thinking tropical island. In spite of the fact that it took two planes and two boats to get us into Bocas del Toro. The more I left behind the more I loved it. When we finally got there the sand was soft, the fellow who took our bags was graceous and we began an adventure I... more

We wanted to warn tourists about our bad experience with the owner of the resort. If our experience is any indication of what's in store for you, you may have very little recourse if things go wrong with your reservation at this resort. Some tips: - If you decide to go after reading this review, don't pay for the whole... more

Perhaps it was the month that we traveled but my partner and I were greeted with torrential rain, floods, and misery and the airport to the island was closed except for emergency shipments. For the entire time there (a full week), there were no way onto the island, and we never made it to Al Natural. Although no one was... more

A truly "Gilligan's Island" experience. Well described here by others. The communal table was a delight. I found the booking experience cumbersome and difficult with monies being sent via bank transfers and after receiving information that there were two nights available and sending money, receiving information that there was only one night available. The proprietor was very fair, but make... more
