While looking for somewhere to stay prior to our trip, we stumbled upon Palmar Tent Lodge and booked it online. We were pretty excited, but we had no idea how amazing this place would be until we arrived. Palmar is snuggled between a big beautiful beach and the jungle. At night you can hear the crash of waves and the... More

My stay at Palmar Lodge was a trip to remember for good. I spent three nights at the dorm. This lodge is the ideal place to connect with nature, relax and meet amazing people coming from all over the world. Palmar Lodge really defines what an eco-tourist hotel should be: energy is generated through solar panels and owners are closely... More

The Palmar Tent Lodge is an unbelievable place to vacation. The location is ideal and the tents super comfortable. Even the boat ride over is fun. We had a slight medical situation (nothing to do with the lodge) and the staff could not have been more helpful and attentive. They bent over backwards to help us. What an incredible group... More

I spent four nights at the Palmar and absolutely loved it. This spot is an self-sustained, tent lodge nestled in the middle of Bastimento Island. The tents and dorms are surrounded by lush green jungle and the lodge is parked right on Red Frog Beach. With only solar powering the place, rain water showers, and no guest wifi (this is... More

My stay at Palmar was nothing short of incredible. Now, if you are looking for a fancy hotel, this isn't it. The tents are basic, there is no wifi, and you WILL end up sleeping with some sand in your bed. But if you are excited about the idea of "glamping" on a beautiful, pristine beach full of new friends,... More

The location of the palmar tent lodge is just perfect - next to the most beautiful beach with white sand and turquoise water! The tents are realy nice and the stuff is so kind! Bring enough money with you - there is no ATM...

I took a tent at the Palmar for 2 nights and was pretty happy I tried that experience! The tent itself is big enough and have a little fan (that will be you best friend at night), a big coffer that you can lock in all your stuff and a small furniture to put random belongings. You won't spend much... More

Palmar Tent Lodge is in the chillest location, nestled in lush jungle but also right on an amazing beach. The vibe was so good with a perfect mix of families, backpackers and all around good people. The owners are two dudes who seem to just want to surround themselves by wicked people in an awesome place. Also the food is... More

We spent 2 nights here at the end of our 9 day honeymoon in Panama. When we first arrived, I think my husband hated it, and I was worried. The tent was small, sticky feeling, and not really at all like the ones shown online - not as colorful or clean looking. After a few hours, and hanging out in... More

Staying at Palmar Tent Lodge for the end of the trip would have been perfect: totally lazed and relaxed, where you have your book but don’t actually open it because you’re smelling the ocean air, listening to the waves and feeling the sand, and then head home. But I had three more days in Panama City. Nevertheless, for 2.5 days,... More
