I spent a whole week in Palmar and had a great, relaxing, fun, exiting, yummy, chill, awesome week. The owners and the crew are very helpful and fun and after the week I could have spent another one there. You have to be aware that some things are more rustic that you are used to have them, but just go... More

We were directed to this place by another traveler we met in Chiriqui. We had already booked a place in Bocas Town, but upon mid-day arrival, we were locked out & didn't feel comfortable with the location. We took a look at availability at Palmar & headed over. A disappointing arrival in Bocas Del Toro turned immediately awesome when we... More

This place rocked. We were planning on staying on the Old Bank of Bastimentos but soon, thankfully, discovered this gem on Red Frog Beach. Unlike most of Bocas Del Toro, this place was right on the beach. We have 5 year-old triplets and they had a blast. There were lots of younger people, surfers/backpackers, but this place was great for... More

Your will a variety of types of lodging offered by Aron & Sabastian. These young entrepreneurs have made made the Palmar the place to go on Red Frog Beach. They have excellent lodging and the finest food around. Their chef is amazing. Chef Joe can create beautifully crafted delicacies that you do not expect to find in the jungle or... More

We stayed here for 4 days while visiting my parents that live on the island. It was so much fun to be this close to nature, we;re city people usually. The tent is adorable, we had a private little shower and it was amazing to wake up every morning to here the ocean waves. And they provide a bug net... More

Probably the best located hostel on this great planet. On this lodge you live in the jungle, in a luxury tent away from everything. And they serve brilliant fresh food. The best place I've been for unwinding!

If you don't need luxury accomendation with concrete walls and electricity and tap water, you will enjoy your stay very much! The atmosphere was very romantic and the stuff was very friendly and open-minded. We could try the surfing gear for free and the meals in the evening were very cheap and delicious. We liked it so much, that we... More

Absolutely loved this place. A brilliant location with awesome facilities and incredibly friendly staff. I stayed a week and it was probably one of the highlights of my 8 month trip. Highly recommended!

I spent an incredible week and a half here, what a place! Tropical forest meets surf beach and the tents are nestled into the forest. The weather was warm all day and all night and strangely no mosquitos. I did yoga every day, sometimes at night by candle light. Swimming, hiking, snorkeling, playing beach soccer with all the crew in... More

This place is exactly as described on their website. The new 'ish' owners are extremely friendly and couldn't be more welcoming. We spent our days lying in a hammock with a cocktail/beer in hand. A really relaxed atmosphere with a nice community feel. There is no wifi, but this is a nice novelty and encourages conversation as opposed to people... More
