We stayed at several places in Bocas. This place was by far the best. GREAT price (this place could call itself a luxury inn and charge three or four times what they charge and get away with it). Very clean, comfortable room. Call architecture. Amazingly friendly, outgoing, accommodating staff who go above and beyond to make you happy and comfortable.... more

La Coralina is even more beautiful in person than pictures can portray. It is only steps away from the water,it has a kick back boutique feel with some of the best food I have every had! Their cocktails were made fresh and sitting on that balcony sipping cocktails, talking with people about their day while awaiting a delicious meal was... more

La Coralina was by far the best place we stayed on our two week trip to Costa Rica and Bocas del Toro. We stumbled upon this hotel somewhat blindly and are so happy that we found it. I cannot say enough about the service - the owner and the bartender provided exceptional serivce and are wonderful people. Not to mention... more

My girlfriends and I started planning a trip to Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica and Bocas Del Toro about two months ago. Even though two of us had been to Puerto Viejo, none of us had been to Costa Rica. La Coralina went beyond all of our expectations. The owner Stacy was PHENOMENAL. All of us left boasting about the level... more

I read all of the reviews on this website and they were nearly all outstanding, and now I'm going to add to the chorus. La Coralina is a wonderful place to stay with charm, warmth, wonderful food, and fun, interesting people. While this hotel doesn't necessarily have the amenties of a fancy hotel, you're not in Bocas to stay at... more

La Coralina is a beautiful hotel, in a beautiful location, in a beautiful country. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we felt at home. The atmosphere at the hotel is very laid back but the service, food and rooms are of the highest quality. We spent eight nights in the hotel and never felt the need... more

La Coralina was an absolutely amazing place to stay in Bocas. Even if you are not looking to spend the night, stop by and have lunch or dinner. Their 'Johnny Cakes' are amazing, (made by a local woman everyday), fresh seafood, homemade chips, and delicious drinks (have at least one House Rum Punch). Not to mention Stacey & Elvira are... more

The host, Stacey, was very friendly. We booked a $60 room without air-conditioning for 4 nights; however, our hike in Boquete took longer than expected, so, we were not able to get to Bocas before the water taxi service to Isla Colon stopped. Water taxi service to Isla Colon stops at about 6-7 pm. Be aware of this if you... more

My wife and I stayed at La Coralina for a week in January. The location is amazing, perched up on a cliff overlooking a beautiful beach. I brought my surfboard and found several good breaks nearby. Stacy is a terrific host and does her best to make sure her guests have a great experience. The food was amazing and the... more
