I stayed here with my parents and sister for two nights. Roomy, yet cozy cabin; beds were very comfortable with bug nets (we didn't need them) and small fans for each bed. No air conditioning, but the fans provided a nice breeze. Kitchen has everything you need to cook (a two burner propane stove and good sized fridge). The cabin... More

We stayed in the dolphin cabin and it was really cool. The sound of the ocean and over the top of the waves. The food was awesome. It is quaint and everyone is super nice. The owners, Monique and her husband are really nice. I forgot my fins in the cabin and they shipped them back to me for free.... More

Tesoro Escondido is a well named place. If you're a keen surfer or just a nature lover, this is the place to spend your time in bocas. We, the 4 of us, arrived early January without bookings and the super cool staff sorted us out by arranging our stay. We had to move a bit but they made things really... More

Hotel was okay. Rooms were very small. The communal kitchen was a disappointment - very dark - it's in the "basement" of the hotel. But one of our friends had the Delphin cabin and that was much nicer... with a terrace and a little kitchen. Best thing about it was the location - a 20 minute jog further down the... More

We stayed here for almost a week with a group of friends. The location is gorgeous, the ocean wild and forceful, and the atmosphere calming. I had planned to work a bit during the trip, but the vibe was so relaxed that I just couldn't pick it up - and as a result I felt much more rested than usual... More

I stayed here like almost one month... Painting. It's the perfect place to find inspiration, you have amazing sunrises in an almost virgin beach... With turquoise and clear water where you can spend hours snorkeling, a place with an amazing view to practice yoga, delicious food, homemade bread and incredible desserts... The rooms are amazingly equiped and detailed... It's the... More

My wife and I have stayed here 3 Times as a way to escape the relative bustle of Bocas Town on Isla Colon. Bocas Town is fun but can become a bit too party-heavy after a while. Tesoro Escondido might be a 15 minute cab ride to Bocas Town, but it feels like it's 15,000 miles away when you arrive.... More

I had the chance to stay there for 2 weeks. Me and my girlfriend absolutely loved it! No there is no refrigerator, the water is not really hot and they ask you friendly to be cautious about your electricity use. But this is part of the whole experience. We wanted to be completely secluded from the civilisation and this is... More

We stayed for two nights at the Tesoro Escondido hostel/cabin/lodge. The location by Playa Bluff and the view on the sea from the deck were very nice. The facilities are rustic but they have their charm. And the food was good even though the portions were on the small side. Here were for the positive aspects. First problem : The... More

Hello Alexander First of course, thanks for staying with us and i extend, again, my deepest apologies for what happened, but while i can, and do, accept responsibility for many things that can go wrong, these two were absolutely and squarely out of our control. I am pretty much going to rehash my email to you here and here is... More

My daughter and I spent four glorious days in this beautiful and gracious resort. Our secluded and private cove was irresistible and I must say lazy afternoons in a hammock were completely relaxing. All staff was friendly and so accommodating Monique has gem here, indeed. Five stars!
