We stayed at Tesoro for three nights and accommodation-wise it was the highlight of our three week travel through Panama and Costa Rica. The owners were like our substitute parents when one of us got very sick :) They really take good care of you. It's also a good place for dog lovers since there have a bunch of really... More

This a wonderful Hotel away from the Town. My husband and i had a truly Romantic and relaxing time here. We stayed in the Dolphin cabin What an amazing view and the sound of the ocean at night lulled us to sleep. We then moved to the Mariposa which I much preferred . This cabin's front yard is the beach... More

This place is quiet and has amazing sea views. Minutes walk from the beach. In a beach / ocean / jungle setting. Food is very good and the service is friendly. You can relax and wind down in one of the many hammocks. The Cinnamon French Toast is the best! We will definitely come back!

A quiet place, where you easily can reach the more quiet places, far from the party-city Bocas. Fantastic atmosphere, with friendly employees. Good food and good enough rooms. You have to love the dogs.

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay at Tesoro Escondido . The best part was the relaxing view, and the beautiful nature all around you when you stay there, it feels like a secluded jungle tree house, miles away from anywhere else. There is a constant sound of the ocean waves which was very soothing as well. Hammocks right over... More

I've lived in Bocas Del Toro for 9 years and have stayed in many different resorts/hotels in the archipelago. When VIP friends/family come to visit, I like to get out of town and out in nature. Tesoro Escondido supplied this in a way that suited my needs/comforts perfectly. The fact that our cabin had a kitchen in it suited me... More

We stayed 3 nights in the Dragonfly room, which was more than adequate for our group of 3. This is a laid back place to stay. Everything was casual and relaxing. The staff was extremely welcoming and friendly from the moment we arrived until our departure, especially Maxie and Robert. The food and service at the bar/restaurant was excellent, but... More

Let me preface this review with a snapshot of the past six months of our lives before arriving at Tesoro Escondido. My girlfriend and I had been travelling the world via Asia, Europe and South America before happening upon this little gem. We'd stayed in countless hostels, guesthouses, hotels and resorts. My guess would put it somewhere around at least... More

My husband and I stayed here for 2 weeks over Christmas this year. We LOVED it! Situated on its own private beach and only 5 mins walk from the beautiful Playa Bluff, the location was perfect. Its a bumpy drive from town $12 each way was (as long as you negotiate up front). The quality of the journey depends entirely... More

My husband and I stayed at Tesoro Escondido for a week for our honeymoon in October 2013. The rooms and the lodge are outstanding, with gorgeous ocean views and the sound of the waves just below. The property is a short walk to the most beautiful beach on the island. Dolphin cabin was just wonderful and arguably has the best... More
