This hotel is wonderfully situated at a very convenient distance from the airport, the city center, and the docking stations for the water taxis. With rooms right on the sea, the waves crashing into the stilts make for a wonderful sound, especially at night. Great value for money. However, cleanliness is an issue - there were lizards and cockroaches in... More

We stayed at Cocomo for 2 nights and had a really nice time! The rooms are cutely decorated and common lounge deck area is super relaxing, and listening to the sound of the waves was relaxing. Doug was super friendly and we enjoyed chatting with him too when he was around - a lovely character :) Breakfast was a good... More

Cocomo is where I hang my hat when I stay in Bocas Town. I've stayed here about 40 times in the last 5 years and have never been disappointed – unless they have been full and I have to stay somewhere else. It is what it is, no bells no whistles, just a great spot to lounge. It’s clean, beds... More

My husband and I spent three nights at Cocomo. The owner, Douglas, and manager, Galia, are extremely friendly and helpful. The staff is also very accommodating. The back deck is right over the water; it is where breakfast is served. Coffee, juices, fruit and cookies, were placed in the center of the table. There is a menu there, and you... More

I liked this place a lot. I backpacked a lot when I was younger but now I just don't have the patience or energy to deal with staying in hostels. In my old age, I like privacy and quiet and I don't mind paying for it. But this place had all the good things about hostels without the more... exhausting... More

Cocomo was a good spot for our one-night stay in Bocas town. Staff is friendly and helpful, with Douglas giving great restaurant recos, Galia providing good activity info, and the other staff generously helping with your needs. Plus, Cocomo has great open-air patio (an oasis from the Bocas town) and kayaks. This little spot would be even better, though, if... More

We stayed at Cocomo on the Sea for four nights this past July. The location was good if you want to be off the strip in Bocas Town, which we wanted. The walk to the bars/restaurants took only 5-10 minutes and was safe. To be cautious we took a taxi back at night since it only cost 1USDpp. All restaurants... More

This place is a little bit of heaven! Beautiful rooms, the decking and hammock area is great to hang out and enjoy the view. You can get laundry done for only $5, great breakfast and helpful staff, great location and Douglas will take great care of you.

Clean Room, helpful and pleasant staff, breakfast ok, nice few from the terrace to the sea. But the neighbor have some childrens o it could be noisy some times. We stay there three nights in a room with a double bed and a separate single bed, the room was a little bit to dark for my liking. For three people... More

Great place right on the water! Relaxing decks, short walk to town, all around great experience. Would stay every time at te Cocomo. Perfect for couples! Breakfast out on the deck in the morning is excellant and you can not beat the view. The deck out front allowed our boat to pick us up for snorkling, and our trip to... More
