I bet this place was nice when it was first built, however now every electrical component in both $100 a night suites and the $200 a night suites (we upgraded from the $100 a night room to the better room hoping it would be quieter - it wasn't) is so noisy or not functioning this place is unbearable. The first... More

We are sorry that your experience was as not what we would hoped it had been. Since your stay in December 2011, we have had 100 customers pass through that room without a mention of air, fan, and refrigerator not working. Also, we could have easily solved these problems had you mentioned them during your stay. All windows in all... More

We've stayed here for 5 nights on March and was really satisfied. The location of the hotel is really comfortable, everything you need is in a walking distance. Just keep in mind that in case you wish to stay by the beach, bocas town is not for you. there's no sandy beaches in a walking distance, you most likely need... More

A nice hotel with great views of the water and mountains. Our room was a deluxe suite that had a sitting area with tv, kitchen and comfortable bed. We were provided with a great breakfast in the morning and received a coupon for a free drink each night. Service was excellent. The only problem we saw was the elevator didn't... More

Stayed for four nights recenty and it was very enjoyable. Room was extremely nice, especially as we only had a studio. Staff were very friendly, and exrenely helpful. Is great value, and includes breakfast and a drink every night. Would highly recommend this hotel.

We originally had planned to stay a few days at Palma Royale and then move to other areas around Isla Colon but after our first couple of days walking and biking the area we quickly realized being right in the hub was the place to be as it is so easy from Palma Royale to catch a water taxi to... We needed a place to stay for just one night prior to taking a boat out to Isla Bastimentos, and I found the Palma Royale through a recommendation and the internet. It's a lovely, well-decorated, comfortable hotel at a reasonable rate that includes a great free breakfast and happy hour beverage coupons! It's also well situated near the boat landing,... More

We stayed one night in Boca town before our venture to one of the islands resorts.  When you arrive in Boca, your senses are awakened with a mixture of peoples including Bob Marley types, hippies, ex-pats and local Panamanians living life intertwined.  You will be presented with tour operators,  open- aired restaurants, hotels and hostels and real-estate sales all vying for... I live on the otherside of the Caribbean. I absolutely loved my vacation to Panama and Bocas. I can't wait to go back and am looking for the next opportunity to return. Being from the Virgin Islands, I was a little surprised at how remote and authentic Bocas was. But Palma Royale was a gem on the island. After spending... More
