We originally had planned to stay a few days at Palma Royale and then move to other areas around Isla Colon but after our first couple of days walking and biking the area we quickly realized being right in the hub was the place to be as it is so easy from Palma Royale to catch a water taxi to... We stayed one night in Boca town before our venture to one of the islands resorts.  When you arrive in Boca, your senses are awakened with a mixture of peoples including Bob Marley types, hippies, ex-pats and local Panamanians living life intertwined.  You will be presented with tour operators,  open- aired restaurants, hotels and hostels and real-estate sales all vying for... I live on the otherside of the Caribbean. I absolutely loved my vacation to Panama and Bocas. I can't wait to go back and am looking for the next opportunity to return. Being from the Virgin Islands, I was a little surprised at how remote and authentic Bocas was. But Palma Royale was a gem on the island. After spending... More

This was our fourth visit to Bocas del Toro and definitively this hotel made it the best ever! The hotel is great, the suite has an excellent design, spacious and a marvelous view. The food is delicious and at a great price. However, for my family and me the greatest asset of this hotel is the staff. Always willing to... More

I stayed here with my son, we booked for 4 days but ended up staying for 5. The staff are wonderful, especially Roderick and the owner, Melissa. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. The hotel decor is high quality with great details and the rates of the hotel are really good. I cant wait to go back there..... Great... More

My bf and I stayed for a couple days at this hotel. What made it exceptional was not just the location, design and cleanliness, but the staff. We hit a couple of logistical obstacles with our travel plans - nothing to do with the hotel - and Carmen, Melissa and her staff stopped at nothing by providing their help until... More

We stayed for 3 nights, in a Studio. This was our "treat" part of the trip. The room was very nice, spacious, comfortable -- coffee/tea, wardrobe and a safe. Perfect location in Bocas, on one end of the main street (3rd St), so walking distance to tours, water taxis, restaurants, bars, grocery etc. Biggest plus was the friendly / helpful... More

We stayed 3 days at this hotel with a large group (2 families). The hotel is in a perfect location, has large, comfortable rooms (some with spectacular views), and is beautifully maintained. But the hotel staff, and specifically Carmen, stole the show! Carmen helped us with everything...how to navigate the town, find tour boats, select restaurants, you name it! We... More
