We arrived in Bocas with no reservations and booked a night here after looking at a few places on the water. The deck over the water is the highlight of this hotel that feels more like a hostel. Sheets and towels were clean, bed was comfortable and a/c was nice also for white noise for room we booked right over... More

My wife and I had hopes of staying in a different hostel that was reccomended to us by some staff in a hostel in Puerto Viejo. Little did we know when we went to Bocas there was a large festival going on that attracts a lot of local tourists, so many places were booked. When we arrived off our water... More

My husband and I were on our honeymoon going to Costa Rica and Panama. We had been to quite a few hotels and hostels at this point and nothing came close to being as horrible as this place is. We arrived by boat to be greeted by a man who immediately wanted to take us to a "good" hotel that... More

My girlfriend and I stayed there for four nights. Room was ok for the price we payed, big room with AC and clean bathrooms. However, the hotel staff was not really service minded and we had no hot water what so ever, even when we asked the staff for help. But it's not all, usually I lock my valuable things... More

Stayed here a few nights and just thought there had been bugs at the beach biting us. Wrong. I stayed with a group of 5 in a few different rooms and we were all attacked by bed bugs. So disgusting. The staff is terribly rude and crazy about getting their money. DO NOT STAY HERE.

This is the worst hotel I've stayed at. Not angry about it, but it's true. No soap, no towels, no blankets. Ceiling looks like it's about to cave in, with shotty patch work and wiring all over the walls and ceiling. Walls block none of the sound from street and hallway. Sharp nails sticking up out of the wooden floors.... More

I was told there would be hot water from a certain hour in the morning and in the evening - there was none, ever ( I stayed in the hotel for 4 days). The staff was not helpful at all, asking us not to cry over that matter and that if we were not happy about it, we could check... More

This hotel is cheap, but not cheap enough. We had a double interior room with AC. When we turned in the AC to clear the air, the room got super funky. After complaining, the front desk person was prepared with the worst smelling plug in air freshener I've smelled. He also said we needed ti turn the AC to high.... More

Yes the hotel is built on the water and the back deck is super cool, but that is it. There is a reason that the hotel is for sale. The owner has decided not to put another dime into it. Saw one dead cockroach and had to move rooms once because of the smell. My friends had stuff taken out... More

My three teenage boys (19,17,14) and I stumbled upon the Brisas Hotel after arriving on the boat to Bocas Del Toro. We ended up staying there for 5 nights and had a great time. The hotel is located at the end of the Main Street and directly on the water. We really enjoyed the back deck area which was only... More
