In short: This was a wonderful experience! There isn't much more that can be said that wasn't said in the other reviews. The cabins are great and spacious, we stayed in the palm with our 16 month old. There was plenty of room for her to run around inside. If you have children be aware that there are no rails... More

We have stayed at KoKo twice and have thoroughly enjoyed the experience. This is a relaxed and comfortable place tucked into a Panamanian neighborhood with a grocery store a block away. Each two-story bungalow has a full kitchen and deck over the water with a deck for sunning and swimming. Jack and his wife serve a huge breakfast each morning... More

I completely agree with all the great comments that have been written here. Unfortunately I also agree with the one negative that has been pointed out by several reviewers. The ups are great! I took my first vacation in 16 months and travelled all the way from Ireland to be here. Within minutes of arriving I had forgotten all the... More

We stayed at Koko Resort in the Gecko cabaña - it has one matrimonio/queen bed upstairs in the loft and two twin (single) beds on the ground floor. Gecko is one of six cabañas, all on stilts, and these 6 share 1 jetty and huge subdeck. There's 4 kayaks and one standup paddle board - our 2 kids of 10... More

My wife and I stayed 5 nights in June at Koko Resort. We had a great time and the resort is exactly has it was advertised. Jack and Lee are superb hosts and as you can tell from other reviews the breakfast is tops! My wife and I are in our 50's and are looking for a place to retire... More

This place was perfect for our family. It was a nice little cabin over the water. Our kids loved watching the fish and looking for starfish. It was really great relaxing in the hammock during the day and at night. The cabins aren't fancy, and I like that! They are very simple but have everything you need! Kitchen has refrigerator,... Koko resort offers the best hospitality and jack and lee offer so much more than expected. Breakfast is always on point. The tours are beyond amazing and at good price. Chris our tour guide was great. All around best place we stayed while backpacking. Will be back again jack and lee. Thanks for the cortizol cream jack. Boomer sooner.

We stayed at Koko last week for 7 nights with our two teenagers (14 & 18). We stayed in the Palm Cabin which was bigger than the cabins further out in the water (and was the perfect size for us). Jack and Lee were just fabulous hosts. Jack made amazing breakfasts for us each morning, helped us plan our excursions... More

My husband and I recently visited Panama as a sort of "adventure honeymoon." While our first three nights at the Trump hotel in Panama City were lavish, upon arrival at Koko were looking at each other with that "this is more like it" smile. Jack and Lee have created an oasis amongst the eclectic structures and happenings of Bocas. It's... More

I stayed here two nights with my friends. The house on the water was incredible. It's a little off the beaten path but totally worth it. We didn't end up wanting to go into town that much anyway. It's closer to beach spots than anything you'll find in town. Lee and Jack are incredible hosts and it was great meeting... More
