Stayed in a deluxe room n half board basis. I've stayed here a few times before, but this was the first time in their Deluxe rooms and definitely well worth the extra money. Absolutely perfect! The rooms are huge, with large shower and bathtub. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinner consists of very good food and... More

Absolutely loved this place. Quaint bungalows in a tropical forest garden setting. It's best feature of course is its proximity to The Rock. Had two nights here and the only things to fault were the slow internet and the little step out of the bathroom. Stubbed toe 3 times, (slow learner), + alcohol didn't help. Meals were OK, pretty good... More

We went there this Christmas to be close to see the big rock. Its like being in the jungle with nice Little bungalows close to the reception. The food was ok with a lot to chose between on the buffet table. There is not much other Things to do in the area when you have seen the rock, so only... More

We got an upgrade to the deluxe cottages which are very spatious and beautiful with an amazing bathroom. The reception and meals area are not very large but they are picturesque. The meals were average, especially breakfast, and we saw many ants on the juice box. But overall the hotel is clean, even if not spotless. The service was better... More

This hotel was part of a three day tour and although 4.5 hours from Colombo airport it was a lovely hotel. Travellers should be aware that this is not your normal Mexico, Caribean, Baleric island holiday and allowances need to be made. The rooms were spacious bungelows and did what it needed to do. The meals had enough range (breakfast... More

You will find the location of this beautiful hotel absolutely stunning in the shadow of the Sigiriya Rock and surrounded by lush foliage and tree's. The accommodation, in chalet style, is both very clean and spacious which was ample for our stay of two nights. In the immediate location you will find lots of shops and also Elephant which can... We were there when it rained enormously in dec 2014 but rooms were really nice and it felt like a solid place all over. Service was maybe not excellent and staff in bar and restaurant as well as reception seemed a bit off... Maybe it was the weather. Food was quite good.

Spent a day with my family while visiting the Sigiriya Rock Fortress in this nice place. The room was quite fine, except that the bathroom fittings felt a bit old, otherwise definitely 5 stars. Definitely going back for a longer stay, to explore the surrounding area and to enjoy the pool which we couldn't due to the rain this time.

We were on a cycling tour and landed into the hotel in the torrential rain following a 75km cycle. Cold and knackered they looked after us well. It was individual huts for our rooms and they were nicely done out with lots of space and a porch area - just what we needed to dry out all out wet clothes.... More

After multiple disappointing hotel choices across this country, we checked into Sigiri Village Hotel for 4 nights. We were originally sheduled for a one night stay but we extended. Very nice pool, beautiful grounds, decent rooms, and edible food. Needless to say, this was the best 4/5 star hotel we came across throughout this country. Would definitely recommend to any... More
