We had a marvelous stay in . Wonderful interiors, very good service and some excellent dining too, must recommend the hotel's Restaurant for the blini and caviar and some exquisite salmon dishes. Very reasonably priced too for a luxury hotel. Different kind of hotel that make you very close to the nature. Situated near to the Sigiriya and have wonderful... More

Excellent service and excellent food. The property is good. However it badly needs a touchup as it is 10 years old. If they do a full revamp while maintaining the current structure for the rooms and rest of the hotel it would be an excellent and luxurious place to spend a quiet holiday. At the moment it lacks the feeling... More

This place is amazing! My wife and I booked our stay for the romantic suite originally but we were upgraded to the royal suite; all because the air conditioner in the other suite was being repaired. The royal suite has everything that the presidential suite has except it is smaller which meant only one bed. Which was perfect for us.... More

Overpriced and lacking quality Money needs to be injected to bring it back up to scratch to what once was a five star hotel. If this hotel was half the price you would be getting good value....it isnt. Look around, there are some great hotels at half the price. The standard is much lower than other hotels on our tour..Very... More

This hotel was amazing we were met with flowers and cool drinks, friendly staff that couldn't do enough for us.Set in the most beautiful park with the occasional elephant wandering through(we didn't see any but did see the evidence on our nature walk) we couldn't have wished for more. First class rooms with the wow factor and the biggest shower I... More

The original concept of this hotel was probably as a 'world hotel'. A lot of effort has gone into its design and setup and it really delivers something quite different in terms of a travel experience and in a good way! The staff are amazing.... nothing to fault here. The bungalows too are amazing and offer all you could want.... More

From the moment we entered the grounds to when we left the staff could not do enough to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable. We were greeted with cool drinks, flowers and chilled towels to recover from our travels. Our room was huge with a plunge pool in our bedroom. The bathroom had a double head shower, separate bath and... More

We moved here from a nearby, very busy Hotel and were very pleased by the reception. Staff bearing flowers, chilled hand towels, a welcome drink and valet parking all within five minutes of arriving. We'd climbed Sigiriya very early and got to the hotel by 11.00, a little early. We were upgraded to the Royal Suite which was beautifully furnished... More

Stayed 2 nights in this special place.Very scenic place, full of nature and animals (like everywhere in Sri Lanka). Great architecture and hotel infrastructure. Nice walks. I would recommend here for anyone to stay. I felt the rooms are little bit too closer to each other.
