We stayed one night at the Sigiriya Cottage guest rooms and it was very nice, comfortable, and clean. We enjoyed our stay, the food provided in the guest house is terrific, and the staff is super friendly! the atmosphere is very peaceful and we had a great night sleep, will definetely recommend it to anyone staying in Sigiriya.

worst place to stay ever, i dont advise you to ever stay there, they try to rob you for every dime you have, they seem nice at the beginning, but they are not be aware. especially the manager Shandana, the rooms are full of cockroaches and insects. there are better places in that area.

Our tour guide arrange this cottage for our stay so that we can go visit sigiriya the next day. We spent a night in this cottage. It is a very lovely cottage in a natural green setting. Very quiet at night. The room is extremely spacious. No tv ( perfect for honeymoon) but there is wifi. The toilet is reasonably... More

Not far from the historical site; very quiet and peaceful,in the middle of a very well kept and silent garden, with a few banana-eating squirrels. Very friendly and efficient staff and the owner speaks French. The rooms are large, modern, well kept and furnished, with efficient and silent A.C. Nice and large batroom with hot water. The restaurant is in... More

I stayed at Sigiriya Cottage for two nights in mid-February. The rooms are large but basic. The water is lukewarm (not uncommon in Sri Lanka and not altogether a problem when it is 35 degrees all the time) and the decor/cleanliness slightly rough-and-ready (again not uncommon in Sri Lanka). The service, however, is excellent. The owner will happily give you... More

We spent two nights here as part of a tour. Rural setting in a large walled garden, spacious rooms, and the location was peaceful but convenient for the village. Simple but good breakfast: we did not have any other meals so can't comment, but we were offered rice and curry. Service was friendly but perhaps could have been more "hands... More

We spent 2 nights at Sigirya Cottage, a quiet, peaceful place in the outskirts of Sigiriya. Our room was big, no mosquito net but fumigators. Excellent dinner and breakfast. Staff was very efficient and friendly, in particular the waiter Hadji (I hope I write correctly his name!) who was really welcoming and helpful!

We stayed for 3 nights at the beginning of our holiday. The accommodation was clean and a good size. The location was ideal being close to Sigiriya rock and in lovely gardens surrounded by wildlife. The breakfasts were good and the staff very friendly. Frogs, mosquitos and dogs were plentiful but were manageable but not being a cat lover the kitten... More

Very quaint and nice little cottage, beautifully set in the jungle! Clean rooms and good facilities. Nice fruit-based breakfast. But bring your own driver/ arrange a drop off-pick up. It was booked by our driver since all the listed ones were full Recommended

We spent 2 days in Dec. 2013 as a young couple. Environment is nice and located very close to sigiria. It is a nice cottage with a very very kind and pleasant staff. They served a good breakfast with a drinkable coffee for the area. The room was nice but it could have been cleaner. It was smelling moist, there... More
