Just had a short stay with my family on the second day of our visit to SL. Good hotel with individual villas and got a nice pool and a big restaurant. Food and service is overall good with lot of traditional Sri Lankan food. Rooms and bathrooms are spacious but outdated and need some renovation and touch up. Being the... More

We stayed at Kassapa for 2 nights to explore the Heritage Triangle and Kassapa was the perfect base for it. The hotel has a rural charm to it, but the rooms are well-appointed and have all the comforts you'd need - clean beds & bathroom, AC, swimming pool etc. However, there aren't too many eating out options, unless you are... This is my second visit to the hotel with my family. The staff were helpful and very friendly. There was an Italian buffet for the dinner. The atmosphere was lively. The room and toilet was very spacious.

We spent 2 nights here and the rooms are big bungalows spread out over a very large area which meant you only really saw the other guests in the Restaurant. The shower is open air which was lovely. The food was great. We ate dinner twice in the garden, under the stars and the food and the setting were fabulous.... More

After a long day venturing out it was great to to arrive at this of the road hotel chalets. The people greet you warmly and offer a much needed sweet cocktail on arrival. The quality and spaciousness of the accomadation is vast and size of the clean bathroom with separate shower and bath is immense. The food on offer is varied and tasty... We stayed two nights at this resort, which we would come back to again. The rooms are all small bungalows which offer plenty of space, are very clean and comfortable and the entire resort is taken care of by a friendly and professional staff. The Kassapa Lions Rock lies on the edge of the wilderness, when we took a walk... More

Its a gem inside the wilderness. Interesting way the hotel rooms are laid out like cottages. Staff were friendly and the stay was great. A special mention must go for the bathroom, half of which is open to natural light- a very interesting feature.

This is a good location for the cultural triangle. The "chalet rooms" are spacious and charming. It would be good if there was a safe and a rack to dry clothes/towels. The pool area is lovely and the buffet and a la carte food was good and reasonably priced. It's nice and quiet. Service is good. I would recommend this... More

I feel a little sorry for the people commenting that it was the best hotel in their stay – they don’t know how much they missed in terms of hospitality and quality at other places. We spoiled ourselves to smaller boutique hotels and I definitely don't regret the time I spent hand-picking these on the internet!!! We opted for the... More

Very private bungalow type hotel. It a long way off the beaten track . not possible to walk anywhere at night its that remote.rooms were lovely and big and couldn't fault them at all . restaurant buffet was ok but nothing amazing.entertainment in the evening was pretty useless. However after long days touring you are not up to much in... More
