For all the food lovers, this is the place to eat home cooked Sri Lanken meals! They served us 10 different vegetarian curries, and they were so delicious. We stayed there only for a day. The room had with air-condition, and the bathroom was clean. But the place was very quit. Nothing special happened there, so it was little bit... More

We stopped here for a lunch, it was a all you can eat bufet. The food was nice one of the best we had in Sri Lanka, lots of vegeterian options and not too spicy if you prefer it that way or of you are travelling with children. The place was clean and you can have a beer with your... More

On our recent trip to Sri Lanka our driver stop at Ariya for lunch. We received a warm & friendly welcome and were seated under cool fans in a large shaded area. The food was delicious & service with a large smile...will definitely be back on our return visit. Amanda

On a recent tour of Sri Lanka our driver brought us here for lunch. Shani, the owners daughter was delightful.... Spoke excellent English and loved to chat with us. The buffet style food was typical Sri Lankan and very plentiful. The setting although in a busy area was quiet, restful and gratefully shady.

We stayed only for 2 nights but were very happy with the place. The price is good and the owners are very friendly. They helped us a lot: picked us up from the bus stop (and before spoke with bus driver and explain where to leave us), explained everything about the sightseeings. The food was very good, plain, nicely cooked... More

We travelled from Colombo to Polonaruwa by bus, which was delayed by traffic caused by endless road constructions. It was late and we were nervous about finding the rest house. We called them to confirm that we were still coming. The daughter of the guesthouse came to meet us at the bus stop and took us to the guesthouse. Despite... More

Tucked away, about 150m from the main road is a little gem. Very friendly and heart warming staff, serving good and varied curries (don't miss the cocunut sambol). Clean and friendly rooms, with air conditioning.

What a relief to come here after a long day of exploring the near by temples. If you are visiting the ruins at Polonnaruwa, do yourself a favor and stop here on the way out. Great buffet so you can nibble or quaff, unlimited tea or coffee, your choice of soft drinks and large, clean washrooms with showers, and great... More

We were in Sri Lanka for several weeks doing an independent documentary. Overall, this was my favorite place to stay. Good food on site, good service. AC and solid wifi, which was crucial for us. My only critique might be the mattresses being a little bit thin, but I slept quite fine every night. The value is solid and I... More

We stayed there during our Sri Lanka journey. They have really tasty Sri lankian food. The nice and friendly owner takes care all the time during our stay. The room including the bath was very clean. Recommended to every tourist of Sri Lanka. Two Brothers from Germany Jan & Andreas
