We stayed here in September 2014. This place is at a walking distance of the bus stop but tuktuk drivers will try to convince you to go by tuktuk. When we arrived the owner immediately asked if we wanted to do a safari to Minnerya NP and he organised it for us for 4500 RS per person. The rooms are... More

If you like to sink a beer at the end of a day at the ruined temples, this is the place. Go up on the roof and watch the sunset as the fruit bats turn the scene prehistoric. Brilliant! I recommend this place. Comfortable, friendly, good value. The owner, Upali, will look after you.

Upali, the owner of the guesthouse, is a very eager man who is always on the run. He makes a habit of meeting the people who make reservations ahead of time at the bus stop, something that is really appreciated to avoid the ever-present tuk tuk drivers. He has connections all over town which is handy if you want o... More

We had a lovely two days here. The rooms are nice clean although basic and was easily cool enough with thie ceiling fan. The bathroom is good is the shower is a little hit-and-miss. The wifi provided is fast an effective. The food served in the evening is excellent quality (which is good as the local offering are quite thin... More

We stayed 2 nights at leesha's tourist home and had a wonderful time. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable, food at both dinner and breakfast was excellent - lots of fruit and veg! Upali the owner is really great, helps with anything you need organising. The location is good too and you can hire bikes for the day... More

We really loved this place! The rooms without ac are a bit basic but cheap (2000rs), whereas the rooms with ac are very comfortable and big, with spotless bathrooms (3000rs). Food is great and cheap, bikes are available for 300rs per day and the archeological area is very close. The owner makes this guesthouse a perfect place to stay and... More

Great value small guesthouse. Delicious food and accommodation and meals were very cheap. The owner was very helpful, got us a tuk tuk to the bus station and the tuk tuk driver flagged down a 'quick bus' to Inamaluwa junction which was indeed very quick! We came back from the ruins at 10.45am hoping to have a quick shower before... More

A pleasant place to stay. I felt immediately like at home thanks to the great atmosphere and the exceptionally friendly staff. The owner Upali was always smiling, chatting with all the guests and giving information, and his cook Rangith was very attentive and cordial. And the food is very tasty! You can borrow bicycles at the guesthouse and visit the... More

There were 3 of us travelling and we stayed in a triple room. Everything worked like the booking said. Aircon, Hot water and Wifi (can be patchy). It is located just a short distance from the centre of town in a quieter location. The owner is very helpful and friendly. We hired bikes from the owner for 300 rupee to... More
