We had a lovely two days here. The rooms are nice clean although basic and was easily cool enough with thie ceiling fan. The bathroom is good is the shower is a little hit-and-miss. The wifi provided is fast an effective. The food served in the evening is excellent quality (which is good as the local offering are quite thin... More

We stayed 2 nights at leesha's tourist home and had a wonderful time. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable, food at both dinner and breakfast was excellent - lots of fruit and veg! Upali the owner is really great, helps with anything you need organising. The location is good too and you can hire bikes for the day... More

We really loved this place! The rooms without ac are a bit basic but cheap (2000rs), whereas the rooms with ac are very comfortable and big, with spotless bathrooms (3000rs). Food is great and cheap, bikes are available for 300rs per day and the archeological area is very close. The owner makes this guesthouse a perfect place to stay and... More

Great value small guesthouse. Delicious food and accommodation and meals were very cheap. The owner was very helpful, got us a tuk tuk to the bus station and the tuk tuk driver flagged down a 'quick bus' to Inamaluwa junction which was indeed very quick! We came back from the ruins at 10.45am hoping to have a quick shower before... More

A pleasant place to stay. I felt immediately like at home thanks to the great atmosphere and the exceptionally friendly staff. The owner Upali was always smiling, chatting with all the guests and giving information, and his cook Rangith was very attentive and cordial. And the food is very tasty! You can borrow bicycles at the guesthouse and visit the... More

There were 3 of us travelling and we stayed in a triple room. Everything worked like the booking said. Aircon, Hot water and Wifi (can be patchy). It is located just a short distance from the centre of town in a quieter location. The owner is very helpful and friendly. We hired bikes from the owner for 300 rupee to... More

We stayed two nights in this very clean hotel. The manager is really nice and helpful but a bit stressed. Dinner was cheap and really good. The room was okay for the price (July, August it's hot, take a/c) breakfast was not good (ask for eggs, they don't bring it automatically, fruits not too fresh) the site is really close... More

We took the nighttrain from Colombo to Polonnaruwe and arrived at 2:00 AM at the hotel. Even after disturbing his sleep the owner was very nice. Answered all our questions and gave is advise on what to do and how to travel to our next destination. The room was very clean! Definitely a place to stay, or to have dinner!

After a tedious 3 day exploring of the cultural triangle we were so exhausted and craving for homely warmth.. which we finally found here. The owner of this place, a real kind and friendly chap, received us graciously into his "home". The place is full of good aura, positive vibes that refresh you the minute you step in. Although, I...
