This hotel is truly lovely. Its position high up the hill overlooking Kandy is perfect. The hotel is modern beautifully clean and the rooms have every thing required except a fridge. This however we found to be the norm in the more budget hotels throughout Sri Lanka. Most rooms seem to have a small balcony from which to look down to... More

No hot water for shower! Room was below restaurant, very noisy, could hear footsteps til late hours of the night and early morning. Construction work also very noisy. Restaurant allowed smokers which offended people that tried enjoying breakfast.

We stayed here for 2 nights whilst sightseeing in Kandy. The hotel has an amazing view of the town thanks to its location up on the hill which is lovely when having meals in the restaurant. The rooms have very dated interior and our bathroom had no ventilation which created a lot of mould and we have complained to the... More

This hotel is lovely and has a marvelous view of Kandy, the rooms are clean and comfortable. Although the lower rooms have a lot of stairs to climb back to the lobby and no elevator. What put a dampener on the experience was when I paid $25 AUD to have my laundry done and when it was returned three items... More

Arrived after dark, and was well taken care of. Hotel is located on hillside and car/ taxi needed. Rooms are ok, but could maybe need a renovation soon. Suroundings are quiet, no noise except from nature... Had a buffet meal in restaurant, it was also ok. There is a small swimmingpool, but to stay here for several days might be... More

This hotel had a great view over the mountain. It had a swimmingpool and nice rooms with good shower. The food has also a high quality. The city is not far with a tuk tuk. Nice restaurants inside the city.

Good points: lovely staff, rooms pretty clean, good views, decent breakfast. But I wouldn't stay here again. The structure of the hotel seems to be so flimsy you can hear everything - we were in a room below the dining room serving area and from about 6am there was scraping and clattering. If you're unfortunate enough to be next door... More

I had stayed in this place on and from 23-09-2014 to 25-09-2014, though our check-in to this hotel was late night, the same was good and did not fact any problem and we had a good sleep over night, morning we had complimentary break fast in the hotel, which was good and decent. Though the rooms which were allotted to... More

Yes, my third visit to this hotel in as many years, I must say it was an improvement on the last visit. It has always had high standards and it was good to see some wall painting/cleaning had been done since my last visit when I found it rather shabby. As usual the service is good, my driver took luggage... More
