This guest house has got an amazing view and if you have a room with a balcony facing the view you can easily spend some time on that balcony just enjoying the view. The owner is nice and very helpful giving us advice on what to do in Kandy, driving us around and also arranging a driver that took us... More

Kandy is busy and can be noisy at times. Staying in the city centre was not an option for us since we knew hillside views are supposed to be great. So we went for the Gem II and it was really good. 10 minutes tuk tuk drive to the temple (lets call it the centre of Kandy) for 150 rupees... More

Located on a hill, overlooking Kandy, about 10 minutes of drive from city centre. Great views, nice room with balcony. Just bathroom was quite dirty and smelly. Do not forget to play with their cute dog!

Me and my girlfriend stayed four nights in the Gem Inn II and we didnt regret it at all. Nice tours with Heshan (our guide), great views at the astonishing landscape combined with the tranquility made our stay really worth it. The house is not the newest one but the price is reasonable with a 10-15min tuck-tuck-drive to Kandy. One... More

Gem Inn 2 was happily changing!! Much to our surprise there we had the best stay in Sri Lanka. In comparison to last year the rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable now! In the evening we had such a yummi dinner while enjoing the great view over the mountains. We can really recommend the spacious room nr. 1... More

This is a really beautiful place to stay. I stayed with my family for 3 nights while in Kandy. The views are incredible, the garden peaceful and serene. The rooms were spacious and most have balconies with views straight over the mountains. Rooms were also clean and bed linen comfortable. The guesthouse has its very own labrador puppy who is... Quiet hotel in the mountain, better to have a driver or you need a tuk tuk. We arrived late and it was the last hotel available.in kandy. Staff very nice but the rooms were not cleaned and smell humidity.

We got here because of our kind driver's recommendation. It was late at night and we were tired so we said yes to the room without inspecting too much. They showed us a room on the third floor but there's no wifi in that room. Then for some reason, they gave us a corner room on second floor - even... More

The mountain view is so nice! There is a big garden, when it is rainy, so romantic! We lived on the second floor with a large balcony. After rain, we have seen double rainbows!!! The cooker can cook some Chinese dishes....too delicious

Stayed for 3 nights in August with a driver. View from our room was fantastic, room and bathroom clean. The staff all very pleasant especially Saranka who appeared to be in charge and was very helpful. Food all freshly cooked and reasonably priced.
