The place was ok. The staff was very nice, helpful and courteous. The breakfast was great. The location is nice, some ten minutes walk up the hill from the lake. However, I picked the place among others because I thought its close to the train station and because some reviews stated that the wifi is very good. Well, so the... More

This hotel was was OK for the fairly low price ($30 for double room). Our room was quite loud around breakfast time when we were jetlagged and trying to sleep. 10 minute walk downhill to the lake. Quite nice breakfast.

We were picked up on schedule at the train station by a friendly driver. When we arrived, we had been given 2 triple rooms that were big and fine considering how tired we all were (we were 3 guys who had requested a twin and one single room). Everything sounded great until one of the employees told us that the... More

We stayed there for three nights. It's not in the centre of Kandy but near enough to get into the city easily enough. It boasts a lot of facilities for the money: excellent quiet a/c, a hot shower, good breakfasts though we had to ask for proper coffee instead of the ubiquitous Nescafe, and really lovely staff. Their English is... More

We (2 adults and 2 boys aged 8 and 10) spent three nights at Days inn, meeting up with our friends who also stayed at this friendly and welcoming little guest house. Due to doublebooking from the part of Agoda we had some initial troubles that we're solved in a professional way by Anura and his staff. We stayed in... More

We arrived in the afternoon at Days Inn and our first big surprise was that familyroom was a private apartment with a private swimmingpool. Travelling with three small children this was a real luxury. The hotel manager and his boys were looking after us all the time and we loved our stay at the hotel. We can really recommend to... More

Chanaka the guesthouse manager collected us from the train station - from start to finish he was incredibly professional and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble for him to sort out. We could not fault the place, the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The room had a TV with basic cable channels (a couple in English) The first night... More

We were pleasantly surprised with Days Inn. It was cozy and spotless. Chanaka did a great job of checking us in amd looking after us. Breakfast was simple and lovely. It was fantastic value for money and if I return to Kandy I will not be looking to stay anywhere else but here.

Upon arrival we were informed that they had made a mistake with the booking. (Oh great!) What a nice surprise it was when they upgraded us to the private apartment. The initial overpowering odour of mothballs quickly gave way to a spectacular room, with spectacular views and our own private swimming pool! The food was excellent and the staff very... More

I would say, It was a fantastic experience, staying in a guest house like Days Inn among very kind hearted staff. Next time I would rather stay at Days Inn than any other place in Kandy. Nice place, beautiful view and lovely people. No place like Days Inn. Thank you all at 66A (Days Inn), Rajapilla Mawatha, Kandy. Threes Baidjoe,... More
