No wonder Amaya Hills was awarded as the best sceneric hotel in Sri Lanka as it is surrounded with mountains and thick clouds. Very cold similar to what we experience in Nuwara Eliya. Don't even think about swimming. Helpful smiling staff. And food is good. Big dinning hall and complete buffet to go with it. Good gym, squash too and... More

The hotel is located in a quiet, hilly area just outside Kandy. The hotel is surrounded by a beautiful and coloured garden, has a gym, a spa and a swimming pool. The views are stunning. The buffet offers a wide variety of food. Staff is friendly and attentive, however, some more cleanliness in the restaurant, when something is poured by... More

My husband and I stayed for one night at this hotel on our honeymoon. Rooms are quite small, especially the bathroom that seems to have come out of a doll's house, but the views are amazing. Breakfast had a wide variety and wifi is available everywhere in the hotel.

I really like their food, there are so many varieties for all three meals. Their service is ok. Be aware of monkeys, one came to our room, grabbed some cookies and went back within seconds. They are large and looks dangerous, so keep the window sit all time.

Hotel has a nice setting up in the mountains. We booked a deluxe Room overlooking the mountains. Beautiful scenery. Room small, toilets smaller. The hotel seemed to be very busy during this time of the year. Staff willing to help but help was not delivered. Ended up being a number in the guest list

about a 10-15mins ride to the center of town, this property is Up in the hills away from the buzz of Kandy town. Welcomed to a lobby that will take your breathe away with the view (it was a clear day for us!). Check in was very smooth and we were escorted to our room (deluxe) which had every facility... More

Up in the hills away from the busyness of Kandy town is this lovely hotel. Our welcome was very nice with a warming drink and towel. Our room was spacious and clean, this included an extra bed for my young son. The beds were comfortable and we slept well. Breakfast and dinner were both buffet style, there were many varieties...
