I stayed at Sujatha's homestay for 2 days and 2 nights. The house belongs to a very warm and pleasant couple , Ronnie and Sujatha, who ensures that you have a perfect stay. The room given to me, which used to be their daughter's room (she now stays in Dubai ) was a spacious double bedded room (they don't have... More

The host are so reliable! Although the guesthouse is a little far away from Kandy town, they can help you arrange tuktuk or taxi to any place you want to go. You can ask any questions and will receive helpful answers.Their house is clean and spacious, the little garden is adorable. Every morning you can enjoy the breakfast the host... More

This is indeed a homestay, where you are welcomed into their home by the lovely couple Roney and Sujatha. The room was spacious, well decorated, and had all the creature comforts one could want. I had the room on the upper floor which also had a long balcony to relax in. The room was not airconditionned, a small negative because... More

While a little way out of Kandy this is the place to stay! Careful directions for our driver, and Ronnie and Sujatha have excellent contacts with 3 wheeler drivers. Within 30 minutes of arriving we were on our way to the Kandy dancers, the temple of the tooth relic and dinner in town! Informed conversation, delicious home cooked food and... More

There is no reason to stay anywhere else in Kandy! We found this wonderful guesthouse run by Sujatha and Roney to be the best of our whole trip around India and Sri Lanka. Sujatha and Roney are both wonderfully kind-hearted, intelligent, interesting people who are full of worldly conversation and tips on the city too. They have perfected the very... More

We stayed for one night in April. We got a room upstairs and it was a huge room with balcony. The breakfast was excellent especially the roti. Wifi connection was good. The house is near the Kandy lake. We had no difficulty in finding the place since they guided our car driver.

We found Sujatha's homestay to be as most people have described. It is about a ten minute tuk-tuk ride out of Kandy city which is great because it is much quieter and very nice garden and views. We arrived late in the afternoon and were thinking of relaxing for the night, but Ronnie gave us plenty of great ideas to... More

I stayed at Sujatha's homestay for two nights and had a great time. Located just outside of Kandy this homestay provided much needed peace and respite from the bustling city and the amount of tours you will be doing. I arrived pretty late but Sujatha cooked up a lovely meal for me, however it was the amazing feast of curries... More

Ronald Weiss has a lovely homestay in Kandy. As a family with two children (13 and 15) we felt welcome. rooms were impecable, comfortable and reasonably priced. Dinner was delicicious and cooked to our taste (we like spicy food, but not the 'Sri Lankan' spicy.... ). It is somewhat difficult to find in th evening. We had interesting conversations about country... More
