Stayed in this B&B for 3 nights and we had a great time! Suzy and Bhatia are great hosts! The trip to the market and cooking class with Suzy was very interesting and enjoyable! The B&B consists of a few rooms in the main building and some bungalows in the big garden. The hosts and their staff are really friendly!... More

The first two days of our round trip we stayed at Kandyan Manor. What a fantastic choice! We were picked up at the airport and taken to this little paradise called Kandian Manor. The warm welcome couldn't have been better - it took us just minutes to feel part of the family. It's difficult to say what was best..., the... More

We really enjoyed staying in kandyan manor. We stayed in one of the bungalows in the garden and from there i could watch and listen to the garden for hours. The room itself was cozy and clean. Only thing to improve is the waterpressure in the shower. The main house which also has three big rooms is colonial (i believe... More

We were in Sri Lanka for three weeks and stopped at Kandy during the second week. We slept 3 nights in the cabin overlooking the beautiful flower garden where all the nice meals were served. We also joined Suzy in a curry-cooking-class which was great fun. Suzy and Bhatia even invited us to see the rugby match between their two... More

The Kandyan Manor was our first stop of our holiday and it certainly got us off to the best start! After a tiring 6.5 hour train ride from Colombo to Kandy in the pouring rain, Bhatia and Suzy had arranged a tuk tuk to greet us from the station - it was a god send! After a quick freshen up... More

My sister and I stayed in the Kandyan Manor last year for three nights. Undoubtedly one of the highlights of our stay. Bhatia and Suzy couldn't have been more welcoming or hospitable. The rooms are a very good size, the food is outstanding and the service impeccable. Both hosts are fluent in English and helped organise day trips and transport for... More

We spent 2 nights from 24th to 26th December 2013, and this guesthouse was a great deception to us during our stay in Ceylon : The manager had overbooked the rooms and we had to stay in a small hut to the back of the garden : the furnitures and the shower were horrible... We were charged for a special... More

This is less like going to a hotel, and more like staying with lovely friends in a beautiful walauwa (which has been in Bhati's family for generations). By far the nicest place we stayed in Sri Lanka. Wonderful rooms with much colour and character. Impeccable service from Bhati and Suzy, who is also a brilliant chef. The only reservation I... More

Stayed here for 2 nights. Hosts were very helpful with planning what to see and how to get around. Rooms very charming and large, good level of privacy. Bedding clean but a little bit aged, shower not "hot" but warm. It all adds to the charm I guess and on balance we enjoyed staying here. The owners take great pride... More

Our Sri Lanka holiday began here. We had a large twin-bedded room with large ensuite bathroom. Some TLC is needed in places, but the overall experience is very good, you really felt that the hosts cared about the experience that their visitor had. Food is very good, and all cooked to order. We had the cooking demonstration, that was probably... More
