What an absolute pleasure it was to stay at Kandyan Manor. The location, accommodation, dining and service are impeccable. What you get at Kandyan Manor can not be bought, personal touches, friendly accommodating hosts and relaxation. Thank you for restful undisturbed time. Our children felt very at home and enjoyed the hospitality shown. Highly recommended.

Stayed here for three nights and it was wonderful. Just far enough away from Kandy to not here the noise, but only about 400rp to get into town, just don't expect it to be walking distance. Suzie and Bhatia are great hosts and will call a tuk tuk and organise where they need to take you. Suzie is an amazing... More

Booked the deluxe villa since it was the most expensive and therefore supposedly the best. But It was much more basic than I expected. It was also very difficult to walk to the "villa" from the garage (even more difficult to find the guest house in the first place!). Food was simple but tasty. Everything worked in the room except... We stayed in a huge, colourful room in the house and found it refreshingly different to the normal hotel experience. Food is obviously a real feature when booking here and meals were great but the shopping/cooking experience was really superb. Suzie is a fabulous cook and really wants you to have a great, authentic experience. The setting is simply beautiful... More

Stayed in this B&B for 3 nights and we had a great time! Suzy and Bhatia are great hosts! The trip to the market and cooking class with Suzy was very interesting and enjoyable! The B&B consists of a few rooms in the main building and some bungalows in the big garden. The hosts and their staff are really friendly!... More

The first two days of our round trip we stayed at Kandyan Manor. What a fantastic choice! We were picked up at the airport and taken to this little paradise called Kandian Manor. The warm welcome couldn't have been better - it took us just minutes to feel part of the family. It's difficult to say what was best..., the... More

We really enjoyed staying in kandyan manor. We stayed in one of the bungalows in the garden and from there i could watch and listen to the garden for hours. The room itself was cozy and clean. Only thing to improve is the waterpressure in the shower. The main house which also has three big rooms is colonial (i believe... More

We were in Sri Lanka for three weeks and stopped at Kandy during the second week. We slept 3 nights in the cabin overlooking the beautiful flower garden where all the nice meals were served. We also joined Suzy in a curry-cooking-class which was great fun. Suzy and Bhatia even invited us to see the rugby match between their two... More

The Kandyan Manor was our first stop of our holiday and it certainly got us off to the best start! After a tiring 6.5 hour train ride from Colombo to Kandy in the pouring rain, Bhatia and Suzy had arranged a tuk tuk to greet us from the station - it was a god send! After a quick freshen up... More

My sister and I stayed in the Kandyan Manor last year for three nights. Undoubtedly one of the highlights of our stay. Bhatia and Suzy couldn't have been more welcoming or hospitable. The rooms are a very good size, the food is outstanding and the service impeccable. Both hosts are fluent in English and helped organise day trips and transport for... More
