I spent my first 2 nights in Sri Lanka at St Bridget's GH and one night on my way from the highlands to the north. The house is beautiful. On the hills of Kandy, peaceful and quiet place located 15 min walking distance from the city of Kandy. The room is nice and clean and the garden is very beautiful.... More

We spent 2 nights in the beautiful guesthouse situated in the jungle around the center. The house is very beautiful and very clean, the bed comfortable. Pipi, the owner made us one of the best curry we had in Sri Lanka and she is very very helpful, friendly and give lots of information and advice. We highly recommend this place for... More

Yes, it's worth being a little out of town. This place is delightful. After a gruelling journey, we were treated to a restorative cup of tea and ginger biscuits - thank you, Pipi! Lovely food, very nice rooms, good advice. Cool trees surrounding the guest house, filled with birds, and fire flies at night. So pleased that we stayed for... More

We stopped at St Bridge's Guest House for the night during our two-day trip along the route Unawatuna - Nuwara Eliya - Kandy - Sigiriya. This wonderful guesthouse was advised to us by our one of friend . She assured us that we would love this Guesthouse,. The road was very long and tiring,. The employees of the Guesthouse, welcomed... Room and Bathroom provide everything needed, are very tidy and clean! both times we also had dinner and breakfast, which is cooked by the wife of the hotel owner and it was very delicious both... Situated a 20 minute walk from Kandy centre this guest house comes highly recommended. My single room was small and I never managed to get any hot water from the shower. However as it was very hot at the time of my stay the cool showers were no great inconvenience. Also, to be fair I never mentioned it to the... More

Stayed 3 nights whilst touring around with driver. Hosts friendlly and attentive at all times making sure you we well looked after. Also our driver had good accomodation and he commented on excellent breakfasts he was given. Our food was home cooking and plentiful, the evening meal being cooked just to our western taste. The bedroom on upper floor, clean,... More

We stayed there only for one night but this is definitely a place worth visiting. High level of hospitality, very useful advices, the most delicious food (with explanations and show of unknown vegetables) we have tried on the whole island - own brewed coffee, fresh fruits, yummy rotti and pineapple jam - we wish to stay there for longer. Very... More

Believe the hype guys, the food offered here is simply amazing, especially the wonderful dinner. The rooms are clean, spacious and the beds are comfortable. Pipi is a very friendly landlady, and she keeps a very very beautiful garden. The open roof terrace is very nice too. It's about 15mins walk into town, but it's a lovely walk. Stay here.
