Spotless room located 10 mins walk from Kandy train station (but get a tuk tuk there as you will struggle to find it, especially if lugging heavy bags). Our a/c worked like a dream, and the free wifi was great, although it worked much better in the corridor than it did in our room. Local style meals can be served... More

I recently stayed at Sevana Kandy for 3 nights. My room came with a fan, balcony and hot shower. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The owner, Ms. Sakunthala was very helpful and friendly, so were the staff. The guest house is in a very central location. The railway station, bus terminal, Tooth Temple, kandy lake are all within... More

We booked our room here prior. Upon our arrival our driver told us all kinds if excuses not to come here ie noise etc. As it turns out as we learned later that he did not get a commission which was the reason for him to say this. We almost were steered in another direction but decided to stay. We... More

I was impressed by the warm from the owner. She's really a kind person, speaking softly with us and providing really helpful tips when we just arrived. Room is quite clean and the in-house food is also quite excellent. More

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. The room was big for this standard however bit noisy Breakfast is not included and overpriced. It is better to eat in the bakery next door. Owners are very friendly and helpful. More

My husband and I stayed at Sevana Guest House in Kandy for 5 nights in January 2012. We payed 2000 rupees for a fan room with a hot water shower, and we were very impressed with the quality of the room. Prices seem to have gone up in Sri Lanka recently, and we felt that this guest house was such... More

10 mins walk from the city centre, near to useful shops. Friendly family (and their friends) of hosts. Big evening breakfasts and evening meals. Clean and tidy rooms (not the biggest you will find but suitable). Warmest company provided that I had in Sri Lanka (of five places in the SW of the island). Rooftop space for sights/dry clothes etc.... More

We stayed in Sevana guest house in Jan 2012 for 3 nights. We booked 2 rooms as we travelled with 4 children. Both rooms were very clean and spacious. We had only breakfasts, which was good - fruit or fresh fruit juice, eggs, toasts and the BEST home made orange and pineapple jam I have ever tasted ( made by... More

We booked this place ahead after reading reviews on trip advisor and were not disappointed. We received a warm welcome and were offered the choice of 2 rooms. We went for the one with a balcony over the main street. It was quite small but very light, clean and comfortable. Our only slight negative with the room was that the... More
