We just loved this peaceful and historical place to stay. Once arrived we felt like in a movie and just adored the beautiful surrounding. The house owner is a very interesting lady with a lot of stories to tell. She is a great host and really cares that her guests feel well at her home. Absolutely recommendable!

perfectly located in the middle of the jungle, up on the hill where you can enjoy the natural beauty of kandy. 15mins walk to downtown kandy, is quite difficult to find even you take the tuktuk, you need to follow the "FG" sign....rooms are basic, but spacious and with hot water, ok cleaness, ok breakfast....

We stood two nights at Forest Glen near Kandy. It's a beautiful place! 10min. walk from Kandy in the woods. It's quiet and clean, while Kandy is a very busy and dusty town in the mountains. Indra, the owner, is a great cook! Ask her to make dinner for you!

Up the hill the surrounding was green and nice, away from the traffic in Kandy. The rooms were average, very hard beds that creaked with every turn. After what we have seen so far highly overpriced. Indra was not at all friendly to us, we did not feel welcome. I was also very shocked about the racist comments oft her... More

I am sorry to hear about the misunderstanding. First of all I would like to say that we sri Lankans are not racists. Please do not try to plant such germs amongst a nation that has always lived in harmony with all races. We never had any prejudices against each other, it seems that the visitors here look at us...
