Built into the jungle this resort is tranquil and relaxing. The rooms are delightful and beautifully equiped. The retaurant offers a wide range of dishes and the pool is just superb. The squirels are a bit noisy at night, but hey! we are in the jungle.

We went here as the first stop on our honeymoon. They made our stay special. You get rooms with a plunge pool or jacuzzi. The hotel is located in the middle of a mangrove. They have their own vegetable plantation and the veggies are used in their cooking. The food is good. They have sheeisha which is a plus.

Stayed in room 208 on april 15. First impression quite good: nice bar and nice designed arrival area. Internet not working, manager excused, fine. The place is in the middle of nowhere so you have to eat there. Quality of food low end, the beef is so tough, impossible to eat. The rooms have been made the cheapest possible way,... More

Absolutely stunning hands down. You feel like you are on another planet. If you are in need of some relaxation and rejuvenation this is the place to be. Staff was great. The pool is one of the best I've seen. Enjoy

This place was breathtaking! We were travelling for 2 weeks ona tour so never expected any hotels of this standard. The room was incredible - high vaulted ceiling, large outdoor bath, huge space. Food buffet was absolutelty delicious and unbelievable selection. Beautiful pool and ground too. highly recommend

The hotel is set in the woods, with nothing much around, except spectacular greenery! The rooms are well anointed, and we had a very comfortable stay. While we stayed here only for one night, this is a perfect location to visit Sri Lanka’s cultural triangle; if I were to do this again, I would stay here for 2-3 nights and... More

Stayed two nights with breakfast and dinner included. Premises are well maintained and very spacious, which is nice but means a rather long walk from parking to the reception and lobby building, and from there to room. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, and bathrooms especially large. Dinner was set-menu on first night and buffet on second night - both were... More

I stayed at Thilanka Spa with a group tour for two nights. It is set in the woods, with nothing within walking distance so very quiet and serene. It is a little quirky, the rooms have huge soaking pools, but it must take for ever to fill them. The doors to the rooms are double doors, but together the same... More

This is our second visit to this lovely hotel. I like this place because it is so close to nature. The grounds are very well maintained and most of the food we ate came from the vegetable gardens which was super fresh. The rooms are quite nice and big. The bathroom are very modern, big and clean. Staff was very... More

We have stayed just for a night at this nice hotel. It is very well situated for visiting Polonnaruwa, Dambula and Sigirya. It has a wonderful garden with many tropical trees. The rooms are big and the bathrooms have huge bathtubs. We have had also a good dinner. The staff is very welcoming.
