I don't do many reviews but I was so satisfied with this hotel during my trip to Sri Lanka I said to myself that I'd do it. So here goes: Rooms - perfect size, great comfy bed. Balcony was awesome for a coffee in the morning to watch the squirrels. And the bathroom ... never had a shower like it!... More

Our first impression was a bit iffy. You can't drive up to the reception. There's a kind of gatehouse with a phone up some unstable steps. You need to call. Okaaay, a little difficult for older people. But then it all changed. The staff came running up and took charge of us. The resort is situated in a magnificent mango... More

Luxury and beauty are everywhere in this hotel nestled in the middle of the country side and the rice fields... The swimming pool is stunning, clean and ideal for a sportive swimming session at the end of the day. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, especially at the restaurant and at the front desk. We were lucky to stay... More

We have been assigned a room where a mouse is living and has been scratching and running all night long. After complaining, the only answer of the staff has been to downgrade us to the room below the one with the mouse. Next guests will have the pleasure to spend one night with this nice and nigh owl animal. The... More

We stayed four nights with our teenagers. We loved the bid modern rooms and various food theme evenings. The pool was cool and beautiful allowing us to swim in and out of the hotel and palm trees. Service was fine, but a little indifferent to guests at the front desk where the focus is on complex paperwork and getting every... More

Cleaning staff and waiters very friendly, but people on reception Seemed disinterested and unapproachable. . Pool was large but very crammed. Rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. Good air conditioning. Food was a buffet , curries were okay (too salty) and puddings were amazing but the rest was mediocre. Lovely location stationed near a very authentic restaurant called 'Salman's... More

Lovely welcome and large rooms, if slightly jaded. As a family we had 2 second story rooms which gave us a lovely view. Swimming pool clean and tidy, although a few extra sun beds would be nice, as there were only a few guests about this did not cause has an issue. Like a previous posting, the onion rings were... After driving from Negombo, this was a sight for sore eyes (and backs!) A beautiful hotel set off the road, nearby to the Golden temple and caves. Grounds: beautiful grounds. The hotel includes a main lobby and bar, an upstairs restaurant and a pool that is half inside and half outside! Loungers and mats made this the perfect place to... More

I went with a group tour and we had a great experience. The Ayurvedic spa was lovely, I got a massage and an herbal bath. The pool area was great as well with a beautiful view over the city. The Dinner buffet was also excellent with a live mariachi band!

We stayed here in July 2015 for three nights. The hotel provided an excellent base from which to tour the cultural triangle. The welcome was good and the pool lovely and refreshing. The rooms decor was a little tired but it was clean and tidy. The food from the buffet was good, although advice would be to arrive earlier on... More
