We have stayed just for a night at this nice hotel. It is very well situated for visiting Polonnaruwa, Dambula and Sigirya. It has a wonderful garden with many tropical trees. The rooms are big and the bathrooms have huge bathtubs. We have had also a good dinner. The staff is very welcoming.

We stayed at Thilanka resort for one night and it all started with big mess. Booking the room by Agoda, the address was given that the resort is situated in Sigirya City not Dambulla. So, it meant losing precious time and taxi money. The resort itself is at first glance 5 star. We were given an upgrade to Luxury room... More

A really good stay at this hotel. The lobby, bar and restaurant are located in the main modern open plan building with swimming pool extending through one side of the building. The area has a great atmosphere especially in the evening and is a great place for pre dinner drinks. All the staff be it in the restaurant , reception... More

That place looks very very special. Beautiful, maintained garden in the middle of the jungle, tastefully designed buldings, clean pool. I absolutely loved the room. I loved how big and airy it was, I was happy it had a jacuzzi, big windows, a balcony overlooking the garden. The staff was nice and helpful. They had a room for our driver... More

We stayed 3 nights in the Thilanka and everything went very well. The mango forest is magnificent and the hotel is close to Dambulla's main attraction. The service and the food buffet were really good! The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms come with a shower and a bath! The only negative point we saw concerns the rooms : they... More

Modest sized hotel which we appreciate in a lovely setting amongst a mango orchard. Pity it was not the fruiting season during our stay!! Rooms might be considered functional but they claim to be eco friendly; food and drink very good. In fact an excellent barman in Mahis. My wife had a massage but she rated it as hardly average.

We stayed at the hotel for our wedding in 2010. The staff could not have done more for us. The location was perfect and the hotel room was delux, particularly for the price. They had even filled the bath with fresh flowers for our arrival. Highly recommended for accomodation, food, service and welcome.

They had a ball! it really is a bit of an oasis from travelling. The massage was very so-so and best give it... More

The food and drinks at this hotel was the best of the ones we experienced in the cultural triangle. However wifi is only available in the lobby and barely worked. Also the lobby, bar and restaurant are open air and attract tons of mosquitos.

You start relaxing as soon as you drive up amongst a field of mango trees. we stayed here for one night during a time when there were heavy rains and constant showers. The rooms were modern and clean, with a nice spacious balcony. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The pool is one of the main features at this... More
