Once you are in your room, you can almost forgive the chaotic and demeaning check in, the honking buses, the mobs of mass tourists milling around waiting to be told where to go and what to do, the ersatz hospitality, native drumming routine as you arrive. This is because the so called Signature rooms are really large, well set out,... More

We were part of the Explore group and stayed in one of the cabins dotted around the extensive grounds. A large hotel so buses of tourists to-ing and fro-ing constantly. Good swimming pool. Good walking. Wifi in public areas only. A quality hotel but not for those wanting to escape tour groups!

We spent two nights here. Our days were active. We used this as our base for exploring the area. It's not really the right hotel for that. It's really designed more as a place to stay for a longer period and use the amenities. Having said that, we stayed at the more expensive 'signature' part of the resort and the... More

The resort is lovely, beautifully situated and the rooms large and nicely furnished. We were looking forward to a lovely dinner overlooking the pool, but the food was terrible. The fish had been frozen, the dishes never arrived at the same time, the wine was awful. Only the local beer tasted good. What a disappointment!

Spent a couple nights here and it wasn't terrible but I just didn't really enjoy it. The hotel is sprawling and our room was so far that we had to take a golf cart to get there. While that was fun the first time it got old fast. It seemed like a place full of big tour groups. There were... More

Arrived just before NY celebrations. Staff were attentive. Upon arrival one is greeted by two ladies beating a drum. This is very irritating as each guests arrives day after day. We stayed 4 nights which may have been a bit long. We had a room close to reception which was a good walking distance compared to more up market rooms.... More

Stayed here for 2 nights as part of an individual tour. Top: the staff, the bar, the restaurant, the location. Downside: the room. Needs an overhaul as the humid climate is overtaking the bungalows and some of the electrical fittings should permanently belong to the 20th century. I do agree with some of the previous comments: the hotel could be... More

Not being a fan of big hotels I have to say we were actually very impressed. The setting is stunning, the reception, bar, restaurant and pool areas are all really appealing places to spend time in. The pool is great, with a bar in the middle and attentive staff making sure everyone is taken care of. The rooms are also... More

The place is situated in a stunning location by the lake The little bungalows provide with goos privacy and in general everything is really spacious. The staff are genuinely nice ans smily (except from the waitress in the restaurant area). We found to down sides: Cleanliness: we stayed in room 78 this last 26th and 27th of January. The room...
