The hotel is beautiful and at a first glance you are impressed. Then you go to your room and disappointments began. The furniture is minimal and badly maintained. The bathroom is barely clean and shower is old and rusty. No care at all .. and lots of noise from the aircon and other electrical appliances of the neighbours ' bungalows.... More

We were lucky to get into this hotel. We had been booked in to another which was not satisfactory, so had to change at the last minute. We were given a delightful room in our own little cabin surrounded by mature trees. Both the buffet breakfasts and dinners were excellent, with plenty of choice. The environment of this hotel is... The resort is on the outskirt of Anuradharapura town spread over a huge area with lots of greenery, trees and water bodies. The rooms are in the cluster of cottages spread across the resort. Hence some of the rooms are quite far off from the reception and dining area. Lots of wood have been used in reception, dining area and... More

Charming Hotel set in large, wooded grounds, with a lake at the far end. The villas/rooms very excellent, large, cool and with an semi separate lounge area. The also had a large roofed veranda. We ate a la carte and the 'european' food was good and a nice change. As it took some time to prepare, we retired to the... More

We stayed two nights in this hotel. We had a room close to the main building that had recently been refurbished to a high standard with a magnificent bathroom. However the food was a buffet which we found disappointing as the choice was limited and the food was luke warm. We did enjoy watching the moneys playing in the trees... More

The "western" food was bland and the Sri Lankan food "hot". The location with a tank (Sri Lankan for lake) at one end was pretty but there was limited access to the lakeside with multiple warnings about elephants and an electric fence. When we were there there was a lot of standing water in the grounds (it had been raining... More

This is a charming hotel in a jungle location and this is noticeable with the presence of insects in the rooms - our daughters had cockroaches and huge moths! The rooms are very spacious terraced bungalows spread out along winding walkways some distance from the main reception area. The beds are comfy but the bathrooms are a bit tired and... More

The problem with this very well laid out hotel is that , in order to leave people privacy the chalets are set quite far apart , and if you are unlucky , it can be a long haul to your room . The deluxe definitely better rooms and with a bath tub . The swimming pool could do with a... More

Finding this incredible place was a coincidence . I admire the thick layers of trees and the architecturally designed nature friendly chalets . Arriving in to the hotel , we found out the place is unique . Bigger chalets leaving more privacy . Service again matters and staff is not informative . Food is ok and nothing much to fancy... More
