This was the first hotel we stayed at on our 13 day tour of Sri Lanka. The staff were very friendly and the gardens and surrounds were very nice and clean. The food was also quite good however there were quite a few things that did not meet our expectations. These included things like the shower head was faulty and... More

This is a great hotel if you're a nature-lover - sadly, I am indifferent to it (I know I know) Check in was fuss free. We drove up to a colonial house and the hall was the reception. No AC which is fine because the entire hotel is well-ventilated. I was in room 111 which is a bit of a... More

This hotel was our second in our Sri Lanka Trip. The rooms are detached from the main building and like individual bungalows. There is a lot of attention to detail as regards to upkeep and cleanliness, the food is good, wifi only at the bar/lobby and very slow, even with us being the only couple using it. We went in... We stayed in Palm Garden Village Hotel for one night as part of a Sri Lanka round trip. The hotel consists of several multi-room cottages scattered around the nicely kept palm garden. The room was spacious, but dated. The bathroom was adequate and while it was not dirty it could have been cleaner. Unfortunately the room(s) are not well sound... More

This hotel looks quite grand upon arrival. The foyer area is quite beautiful as are the gardens. Unfortunately the rooms let this place down. They are dark and depressing. Windows are permanently covered by fixed drapes hence no natural light. The beds were hard and the bathroom badly needed updating (electrical power points and light fixtures looked dangerous!) The food... More

We had two nights here but would of loved to stay longer, the rooms were great with a double shower and a great comfortable bed. We had the buffet dinner at $16,000rp we thought it was good value, breakfast was on the verandah of the restaurant and was very good. On our last night we had a burger in the... More

We stayed one night at room 122. Not had a warm welcome and staff was like " stay if you want". Unfortunately we had to stay as it was already reserved and we were on a journey of many days. I would like to appreciate what owner has done. He has turned a bare land into a beautiful, peaceful place... More

We loved our stay at Palm Village - the warm welcome, the stunning 4 poster luxury, sitting room, terrace and room (106) with everything we could ask for (and more with the double shower). We loved the storybook, explaining the development of the hotel, the before and after pictures, being set amongst the trees (all with name labels), the monkeys,... More
