Travelled as family of 3. Our driver booked this place 3 months before we travelled,we were greeted and shown to the room which felt like 1 klm walk from the reception in pouring rain. The standard room was small with 2 twin beds pushed together no third bed for our daughter, the wife got on the phone to reception but... More

hotel is nicely situated in a lush jungle like garden. Our room was spacious, but the bed smelled like mold and we had a very noisy AC. Staff does their best, but the language remains a problem. Restaurant so so, we ordered an omelette for breakfast, but the bowls with the ingredients were crowded with ants....no omelettes for us then.

Four of us stayed here on the first night of our short journey around Sri Lanka and were enchanted with the buildings, setting and giant squirrels running up and down the trees outside reception. Whilst our room was fairly basic, we spent very little time there so were not particularly concerned about the frog in the bathroom, (it was only... More

This was our second day in Sri Lanka and we liked this tastefully decorated large hotel. The chalet in the grounds was lovely with an amazing huge 4 poster bed, great bathroom and a balcony to sit out on. We had robes, safe and fridge. It is set in acres of grounds with beautiful trees, a huge lake and very... More

We spent two nights here in one of a typical row of three bungalows, good-sized rooms, but wifi only in the lounge area. The general atmosphere was rather gloomy, not only because of the rainy season, but also because of the low-wattage lights, omnipresent heavy dark brown furniture, and the long and dark footpaths to the (distant) rooms. The choice... More

From the moment you drive onto the grounds , to the walk to your room its the best!! Two SriLanka women at front desk greet you and help you with your reservation, a bellboy then takes your luggage to your room, as you pass by the most beautiful garden I have ever seen, rooms are set in 2s side by... A bit disappointed with our 2 night stay here. Our room was a long way from the restaurant, bar and pool area and paths were poorly lit. Room was fine, bathroom excellent. Those taller than 5ft 7 would need a different bed as ours was only 6ft long and 4 poster with the mosquito net fixings at the corners. The... More

The first impression was very bad as we had to wait little longer to take a room when we were tired after a long travel. Even after the initial delay, they provided us a room almost 250 m away. It was so difficult to find our room in a 40 land covered with large trees. Nobody provided the support to... More

We stayed here for a night, during our sri lanka trip. Lovley huge hotel spread over 50 acres of land. Rooms are quite huge with nice sit out areas in front overlooking the lawns. For people who r old and cannot walk much, Make sure to ask for a room close to reception. Lovely landscaped gardens with figurines of life... More

Amid the arid climate of Anuradhapura lies Palm Garden Village. I have my doubts about there being palms in the garden but there was a garden and a vast one at that. There is a village feel which is welcoming - non-pretentious and down to earth but very comfortable. The rooms are spacious, a little dated as far as fixtures... More
