We stayed here for a night, during our sri lanka trip. Lovley huge hotel spread over 50 acres of land. Rooms are quite huge with nice sit out areas in front overlooking the lawns. For people who r old and cannot walk much, Make sure to ask for a room close to reception. Lovely landscaped gardens with figurines of life... More

Amid the arid climate of Anuradhapura lies Palm Garden Village. I have my doubts about there being palms in the garden but there was a garden and a vast one at that. There is a village feel which is welcoming - non-pretentious and down to earth but very comfortable. The rooms are spacious, a little dated as far as fixtures... More

We stayed here for just one night whilst on a seventeen day private tour of Sri Lanka. The hotel was set in beautiful grounds with a lovely swimming pool area. It is well worth a stroll through the grounds and out the gate where you will find a nice lake area which you can walk around. We were told that... More

Location : 3 1/2 hours from Colombo and well suited to visit the historic sites just 15 minutes away and Willpatu National Park 25 minutes away. Ambience: the whole hotel is laid out in-between lots of traditional dry zone vegetation...and with. 20 plus years of nurturing the garden they have ended up with a lovely place that just spells out... We only stayed at this hotel for one night and it was ok. The hotel is set in beautiful grounds and the swimming pool was extremely large. However the rooms were a bit dark and dingy. The food was a bit disappointing. For lunch I had the vegetable fried noodles which consisted off a huge plate of noodles and the... More

My husband and I spent one night at this hotel on our honeymoon. The room was a good sized one with a large shower bath included. The toilet however was not properly secured and it kept making a sound when one uses it, was quite a nightmare. At night there were too many animal and insect sounds for our liking.... More

There is an earlier comment saying that the Palm Garden Village has potential. I agree to this - the nicely decorated lobby is impressive; so is the huge swimming pool. The overall landscape / architecture concept is interesting and striking. They are rightly proud of the efforts they put in transforming their property into a sort of “arboretum”. I am... More

Based on net-evaluations, I had my doubts, but finally the hotel was really very nice. Yes its a bit dark, but has a nice calm atmosphere. Service is good, also the buffet for breakfast and dinner (less choice than in other hotels, but of good taste). The kids disliked to things: poor wifi only at the bar and the milky... More

Lovely hotel near Anuradhapura, set in large well cared for grounds. Rooms take the form of small lodges set amongst the well-tended gardens. Nice swimming pool, gym and health centre. Good buffet-style restaurant with mix of Sri Lankan and western dishes. Relaxing bar. Recommended.

A lovely hotel in such a remote area, but fast developing, the design of the hotel is unusual &the interior decorations were nice. The place is full of greenery which makes it cool on hot days. The hotel is very vast, the rooms were very comfortable, but the shower cubicle is too small. The Western part of the dinner buffet was... More
