I visited this place with my husband and our expecting baby. We booked this place via a phone call and when we arrive there the staff welcomed us warmly. They were prepared ! The room we bought was very clean(not a speck of dust was seen) and beautifully arranged. The bathroom was built with modern bath ware and it was... More

The rooms a clean, spacious and nice, bathroom was spotless - the service is excellent and the food is great as well. The atmosphere in the hotel is very good and we felt welcome from the very beginning of our stay. The owner and his staff are very friendly and helpful in every possible way. They are in the process... More

The Ceylan Lodge is still building their swimming pool, but you can be transported to another hotel if this is something you need in a hotel stay. Rooms are fine without being special and it is a pleasant walk into the main shopping area. Breakfast was good, as was the dinner we had here. Nothing fabulous, but a good hotel... More

The Ceylon Lodge is a clean will appointed hotel located in a quiet part of town. The construction of the hotel appears complete, however the pool and the grounds are still a building site. The hotel efficiently transferred us to and from another hotel so we could use the pool. The room had every thing you would need, including a... More

Stayed here for one night. Our room was next to the reception. The noise from the television and lobby area made the night there a lot less pleasant. Room was basic but clean enough. It was a fair place for one night. The breakfast was good; a hearty Sri Lankan breakfast. The hotel did up the price of hiring cycles... More

I'd call this a very good budget hotel. The chef made us a special curry dinner our 2nd night and it was delicious. Breakfast was nice too....lots of great tropical fruit. Beds were comfortable, rooms were very big, lots of hot water but unfortunately the room had a musty smell. No Wi-Fi in the rooms and TV reception extremely limited.... More

We stayed in a room where they were still building around us. They stopped at night and we weren't there much during the day so it didn't bother us. The lodge is trying really hard to please western tourists and i think they will get there once the lodge is finished construction. The Sri Lankan breakfast was a highlight. Showers... More
