Came here to have lunch on our drivers reccommodation. Prices are slightly above average. we ordered Nasi Gorenge and Duo grilled chicken and fish. The chicken in both dishes was cooked so long that it became very chewy and dry. The seafood was very salty and chewy also. The staff service response was very slow and we were about to... More

I stayed here as part of a tour of the cultural triangle. The room I had was blocked by tables. Staff were unhelpful, lazy and were more preoccupied on their phones. The only upside is a good view of the lake. Stay away from this place

This place had a clean room but was only ok. Easy walk into town but very hotelly - guest house would be much nicer. We got an aircon room but the aircon broke through the night (they didn't charge us in the end for it). It has a large function area right outside the room doors so thankfully there was... More

We were here for 2 nights and was sufficient to visit the ancient attractions in and around anuradapura city. If you are looking for very basic accommodation for what you pay for then this place can be recommended. We heard that not too many visitror traveling to Anuradapura but they go to Polonnaruwa and Dambulla. But ever since we started... More

We were taken here by our driver from a previous hotel...this was the only hotel so far that we haven't organised ourselves and I have to say we learnt a lesson! The rooms were damp and smelly, the staff weren't particularly helpful and I would only recommend the buffet if you get there early as it can sit out for... More

Our stay there was part of a tour through the cultural triangle organized by a hotel in Kandy. The room was ok, the fan switch was broken, but an electrician came to repair it quickly when we've asked for it. Bathroom was okay. There were moskito nets over the beds. The restaurant offered a very nice view over the lake... More

So we checked out a few other places around town and decided to stay here as it was half the price of other lodging and had sky t.v and free wifi. We paid 1500Rs a night, the room clean and the staff friendly and not pushy regarding tours etc. The downside to the room was a very strong musty smell... More

Had lunch here early in our tour and most had the rice and curry whilst i had the devilled pork. It wasnt as hot as i would like but fine for most western tastes. The R&C was quite tasty as i tried a few of them and some were better than others we tried later in our tour. They also... More

We stayed here to avoid the hassle of dealing with a pushy driver. Rooms are bad value, more what you'd get in a 5usd dorm room. Not clean, windows dont close (problem AC / mosquito). Worst was the food. We ordered a curry and were serve sth that was definitely not curry but rather sth undefined Chinese.
