We stayed here for a night and due to the helpful, friendly service, especially from Sunil, this made our time very pleasant. He was always ready to assist if we had queries or wanted something. The breakfast on the terrace in the morning in the sunshine was well made and plentiful and I'd highly recommend this place to feel welcomed... More

The rooms are cheap and very comfortable, our best wifi here in sri lanka. The owner helps us about our problem with a call and burocracy we need to go to the north. We rent bikes there for good price also.

Stayed for a lovely 2 nights. Sunil was extremely welcoming and helpful and his English was excellent. He told us all about the local perahera which was happening that evening, explaining when to go to find a place etc etc. The food was excellent, breakfasts plentiful and he and his wife were very accommodating when it came to us wanting... We stayed here because some friends were staying here. It was a clean, nice sized room with hot water, clean bathroom, mosquito nets and a nice court yard. The owners were friendly and it is very close to town. It did lack atmosphere but as we were the only guests there that can't be helped. I would stay here again... More

I can only join the others in recommending this guesthouse. Mr. Sunil, the owner, was very friendly and forthcoming, and he is an excellent cook. The room was spacious, very clean, nice bathroom, A/C, fan. Not too far away from the center, but in a very quiet corner. Driver accomodation provided for free. And they have good Wifi. We found... As observed in the photos, it has a nice patio for dining. Lots of mosquitos, but they will sort this out for you with the coils. Food is good. What impressed me most was the mango juice. They make this fresh from the fruit picked up in the garden. Rooms are clean with toilet and showers properly working, although I... More

We stayed here one night and were very impressed with the rooms. The room was spacious, clean and contained a simple bed. We got a room with ac as well as a mosquito net which is a must. The staff here are very friendly, courteous and prompt with helping you out. My wife fell in love with Suzie the owners... More

Our room was simple, very large and clean, with AC. Price/quality rate is very good. Very nice garden and very peaceful. The owner and his assistant are very friendly. There s no wifi but you can use free of charge the hotel Milano s wifi, that is just few meters away. I highly recommend the food here. Rice and Curry... More

Nice, simple, guesthouse well located for local sights and attractions. Food is excellent, staff are very friendly and our room was clean and functional. Our room was air-conditioned, definitely an advantage in this part of the world.

We completed a one night stay at the Saubagya Inn and found the place to be a good option that can cater both breakfast and dinner for you. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and while they may not have had perfect English (which I didn't expect), we were easily able to converse and figure out what was needed.... More
