We only stayed a single night, but it was great. The hotel is small and friendly with lovely rooms and a faultless location within the old city walls. The staff were very friendly and helpful, with a cheery greeting whenever you passed through reception. The location of the place is one of the major positives - the old town is... More

This hotel is great. The location is perfect, you are in front of the ocean (super easy access) and in the middle of the old city. the rooms are small but modern and nice. Service if very nice and staff is polite. The breakfast is nice, and they serve it either on the beach, or main lobby, etc. which is... More

Well with choosing hotels we have been lucky as all are in the center with mid range prices during our traveling. this location is amazing with no need to look further. car ride to visit sv.stefan and other locations were easy to find as one road.

Had a nice stay here - it's within city walls so easy to walk about. Only downside was parking - total 'mare to find somewhere near the hotel - there are gates up on the streets surrounding the hotel so was a bit of a pain, had to park very far and lug my bag in - this was the... More

Right at gates go old town but good quiet sleep. Comfortable room. Good service with great English (although received some misleading info at front desk about transfer to Tirana that left us scrambling at the end to arrange transportation on our own). They have beach access which makes the location even more amazing and unique. Breakfast concept is great that... More

I visited the place for breakfast an early morning and it was one of the only places open at that time (around 8 am). Very good point there! The breakfast was a bit boring with not loads of choice. We had coffee and tostaed bread (called pastry in the menu) with some jam, honey and butter. Nothing extraordinary but i... More

Checked in to the Astoria after a poor experience at the Avala resort across the square. Firstly the receptionist Gordana was extremely helpful and efficient, she seems to manage the hotel with precision! There is no lift in the hotel though Gordana quickly organised for our (heavy) bags to be carried up to our room on the 2nd floor. Location... More

Spent 3 nights at the hotel in mid June as part of out first trip to Budva. The location of the hotel is excellent with the close proximity of the beach and being within the old town. The size of the suite was good with 2 tvs and a separate lounge / reception room. The reception staff, in particular Jelena,... More

If you want to party for half the night and crash out till midday then this place will be fine for you. If, like us, you are touring, and you need to get up at 6.30am for an 8.00am departure then this place is a nightmare. There are only 12 rooms but all the others seemed to contain noisy Italians... Unfortunately Astoria Hotel doesnt deserve it price .Breakfast was completly disappointment, the service is very bad and heavy in, the room all the old robes ripped ,hotel assistant general manager was very rude and unfortunately intolerant to the children. What a pitty ,That beautiful building but bad management, definitely would not recommend.
