The location is excellent, near lake Firiza, in a forest area, 10km from Baia Mare. The staff and the owners are very friendly and helpful. Stayed here with some trepidation having read earlier reviews but had a very good surprise. Good room with balcony , very clean. The best "surprise" was very good service in the restaurant and an excellent fish platter for dinner.... More

Spent the the New year's eve. Most food straight from the supermarket (salami and cheese), smelly restaurant, highly overpriced. They promote a new villa they rate at 4 stars, yet the restaurant where everyone goes for the meals is the old one at 2 stars (indulgent rating... it looks, feels and smells like 0.2 stars...).
