Hotel Majoro looks & feels like a cozy, charming boutique hotel. When you enter the main gates, you find yourself in a different world. Stunning surroundings, rooms, garden and pool area. Tastefully and carefully selected "story telling" furnitures and artwork wherever you look. Relaxed atmosphere, but also plenty to do from playing table tennis to enjoying a walk in the... More

An oasis in the desert. This hotel invites you to stay longer in Nasca and extend the experience not only to observe the famous Nasca lines but to relax in touch with nature and have the opportunity to visit other attractions such as the Aqueducts of Nasca, the Pyramids of Cahuachi, the Chauchilla Necropolis and the Museum of Maria Reiche,... We were on a 3-week, small-group tour of Peru and stayed here one night after our Nazca-line experience. The hotel is a one-night experience for many tours doing the Nazca lines. The hotel's grounds are beautiful and we had hoped the room would reflect that. Our room wasn't bad, adequate for one night. The bathroom was large. We had a... More

Actually, she is an alpaca and her name is Dina, but she is a bit of an "old grump" so don't get to close. Or it is Carmella the vicuña, with her long eye lashes and luxurious coat, a rare and beautiful creature found high in the Andean mountains. Either way, it is a story to tell when you get... More

Dear guest, thank you for your comments. Yes, Dina is a widow and she cant get over it, and Canela can be a little of a pest too if she happens not to like you. I'm very happy to learn you enjoyed your stay at Majoro, and your comments will encourage me to do a better job. More

This a special hotel 1.8km from Nazca airport. It is a family runned Hacienda style with a magnificent landscape, indoor courtyards, great swimming pool ,bar, restaurant with great food, separate "living rooms";the whole place is very peaceful , spotless and the staff is great. There is even an observatory. What makes it special is that it was a convent 400 years ago, then it became privately... This is not a 4 star hotel as advertised. If it would be a 2 star hotel, i would give it an amazing review. But it's not. The grounds are indeed amazing, the flowers and the animals walking by it's unique. But that's it. When you enter the rooms everything falls apart. The door has no knob, and you are... More

A very nice, typical Peruvian resort. Young llamas running around. Excellent restaurant with very responsible prices. No TV's so you can enjoy your surroundings. They own their own planes so you can book a flight with them. Also a very sturdy hotel as it withstood a 7.0 earthquake while I was there.

We spent one night at Hotel Majoro and had a rather mixed experience. However you might feel about an alpaca, a vicuña, several different birds and a few cats roaming the hotel area, the grounds are nice and full of flowers and trees. The bar, common areas, etc., look a bit worn, but that might be expected from old buildings.... More

Dear guest, I'm happy to learn you enjoyed the gardens, but not so the rooms. Probably you did not see the plugs close to the floor. The heater is more than adecuate for the room's size and there are extra blanquets at the guest's disposal in the closet. I'm surprised at your comments regarding the personel at Front Desk and... Stayed here one night in April to visit the Nazca lines. Reception tried to help with a problem we had but we found they either ignored us or became quite aggressive. We stayed for one night at Hotel Majoro in Nazca. This is an old converted farmhouse with a very spacious courtyard. There are ponds and bridges and gardens and the whole setting was very peaceful and relaxing. A beautiful swimming pool was on the far side of the grounds.
