This is a lovely converted hacienda about 10 minutes outside downtown Nazca. Our room had a great garden view. They have a pool, great pieces of pre-Colombian pottery and fabrics on display in the rooms and common areas, and beautifully landscaped grounds. The Majoro is around 30 minutes from the Nazca archeological site of Cahuachi. They have nice comfortable ‘living... more

Stayed here with a small tour group. A bit out-of-the-way - drive out of town, down a dirt road through the fields - but the grounds and building are beautifully kept. Room was simple but adequate. Good selection in the restaurant. Enjoyed sitting by the pool (too cold to swim), and appreciated the free internet. Only complaint - rooster crowing... more

I just loved the experience! Hotel Majoro is a very nice place to stay, it was formerly a monastery so that gives it a nice envirorment. The staff was very friendly and they went off their way to make our stay wonderful. And the food was very nice too, loved the peruvian food! Also we were able to take the... more

My tour group (GAP Adventures) spent two nights here during my Peruvian vacation last year. When I first arrived, my first impression was the beauty of the hotel and the grounds. Its a former convent that was turned into a hotel by its owners and the building is great to walk around. Theres a lot of vines with flowers growing... more

I stopped here after a long stay in Peru and went with a couple of peruvian friends to this magical place. The drive can be a little bit long and exhausting but once you get there you must head towards the bar (after checking in of course) and ask Ramos (the barman) for a huge Pisco Sour. After that you... more

We stayed at this hotel in June as part of our GAP tour through Peru. The hotel is definitely away from the main road- about 2-3 kms through dirt road to get there. So once you get there, there is nowhere to go. Bougainvillea flowers everywhere, this hotel is so beautiful. The rooms are basic- which you have to expect... more

Unfortunately we did not get off to a good start with this hotel as we were put into a very small room overlooking the entrance to the hotel. We were moved to a better room after a little fuss. The following morning we had to make an early start. Sadly there was no hot water. At 06.30 I located the... more
