Really liked this place. The room was dark (window looked out to corridor) but everything else was good. Friendly people, lovely pool in the garden for a cool dip on a hot desert day. Excellent buffet breakfast. Very clean. Perfect location if you are arriving by bus - it's directly across the road.

We backpacked through Peru and this was one of the nicer hotels we stayed in, however it was on the more expensive side during our three week trip ($60/night), excluding Cusco hotels. Breakfast was better than most of our other stops, but after a week of roughing it, this was a nice break. The shower actually had hot water the... More

I only stayed one night. Price is good. Room was clean and comfortable. But i have seen better hotels in same area. Anyway it was good enough. Also they help you about plane for Nazca's lineas which is good.

Room good size looking out over a pool. Adequate breakfast, pleasant staff and only over the road from bus terminal. Bitof a walk to Antonini's museum but worth it. Nice to stroll down main street, not too busy

Rooms are fairly small but very clean, comfortable beds, good sheets and towels, plenty of hot water. The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool and lots of open air sitting/eating areas. Very comfortable overall. They have a good buffet breakfast with fruit, nice rolls or toast, ham and cheese, tomato and avocado, scrambled eggs. The coffee is not so good... More

Spent 1 night at this hotel as part of Exodus trip "Peru Explorer" Very basic rooms with very basic facilities and a not particularly good breakfast as hotel couldn't cope with our early start and put out stale bread from the previous day. We were given Room 215 but this had no view as it was situated directly above reception... More

Very basic rooms with very basic facilities and a not particularly good breakfast but ideal for the main intercity bus services (based over the road) and with plenty of decent restaurants and cafes nearby. Staff were polite and helpful. This could be quite a bit better with a little more effort!

This was, by far, the nicest hotel we stayed in during our two-week visit to Peru. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The shower water was both hot and high-pressure...very enjoyable! The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and TV channels plentiful. The pool and courtyard are nice and add a taste of luxury to the hotel. The hotel... More

It is probably appropriate that the Hotel Alegria felt like an Interstate 40 motor lodge somewhere in the middle of nowhere in Arizona or New Mexico, like Holbrook or Tucumcari, because the city of Nazca has that same feel. Remote. Surrounded by desert sands and barren mountains, and bisected by the Pan American Highway. It had a pool, which for... More

We ended up staying two nights here, waiting for the sand storm to end and for our flight to take off ;) The staff was really helpful and accommodating, and they were always greeting us with a smile. The garden and common area by the pool was pleasant. Our room was good! All was perfectly clean. The wifi was quite... More
