Well done hostel friendly and accommodating. Pretty much what you expect for Peru not the cleanest but it was a good spot. Best food in Huacachina. They also rent sand boards. This town is awesome!!! Bathrooms are ok although were closed for repairs 2 days. Overall you will be happy here.

We stayed one night in the Desert Nights HI Hostel. They offer dorms for 20 Soles per person. The room was not too big, for one night ok. No lockers for backpacks just small safe for valuables. Water in shower was not really hot and WiFi did not work really good. The restaurant offers lunch offers (15 Soles), breakfast and... More

We stayed here in the dorms on two different occasions for one night each. It’s a pretty basic hostel – the mattresses are actually pretty comfortable and the sheets were clean. The dorm we stayed in was really hot and stuffy. Some of the staff was friendly. The restaurant is not very good, but unfortunately it does not have a... More

You get a clean bed and a shower, nothing more, nothing less. Breakfast isn't included, but the breakfastmenu is delicious. The sandboarding with their guide is fun. So conclusion: Find another hostel, but get your breakfast at desert nights.

We stayed in April 2014, and had a great time! There's a great backpacker vibe here, really in the whole small area of Huacachina. The food is pricier here but quite good, and we were comfortable in our dorm although the beds are a bit small. A big plus was the lockers that digitally locked, although they were a bit... More

The place itself looks okay, a little sketchy, but fine. However, after an hour of feeling little itchy I turned on the light and saw them right away. One of the employees said they didn't have them for over 8 months. However, the way they dealt with it looked like they already had this for a long time. So if... More

Rooms and bathrooms are very clean and the dorm we were in was very spacious. The restaurant also has great food, which is a little more pricey than a lot of Peru but this is the same for the whole area. Did a sand buggying and boarding tour with them as well which was fantastic!

This place is great. The staff are so friendly. I was only there one night and I was sad to leave. The food is great. Amazing quality. We are yet to beat it (I am writing this a few days since we left and haven't beaten the food yet). Really spacious rooms with lockers. Lacking power outlets for charging etc.... More

Great hostel, reasonable prices, good food, exceptionally helpful staff. Couldn't ask for more really. Do use the staff to book everything, they are helpful and won't mess yu about like some of the agencies in huacachina

Stayed here for one night with a friend after arriving from Lima. On check in everyone was friendly and the dorm room is a good size for only 8 beds. However you never feel there's an atmosphere like other hostels, as other reviewers have said it's basically a restaurant with a couple of rooms round the back. Communal area is... More
