As I wondered thru my pictures I can't cease to savor all the wonders of the region and treats from beautiful Serena Cuesta Lodge. Food is magical. Views are unbelievable. Accommodations divine. Sightseeing is an adventure. Lodge is spectacular. Its a small boutique hotel with all the looks, amenities , and feel of a real upscale estate. The staff friendly... More

We planned an Easter visit with five families. We closed the Hotel for ourselves. The place is incredible with breathtaking views of the mountains, including Huascaran. From the beggining, Mariana made us all feel at home, the rooms were very comfortable with great quality obn beds and linens. Whatever was needed was available in a very simple but great way.... We spent two nights at this beautiful hotel/ranch house/home to begin a month long stay in the Huaraz area. Cuesta Serena was a wonderful treat. We are a family of five with three young children so the gardens, paths, and the labyrinth where the kids could run, explore and play was key. Add on a welcoming staff, two super friendly... More

I stayed at Cuesta Serena for a 2 night weekend while in Peru on a business trip. The location was peaceful and serene, with beautiful grounds to explore, and mastiffs Max and Mara to keep my company if I chose. There is a beautiful, enclosed pool, which was comfortably warm in spite in of wind and light rain for part... More

We spent four nights in this nice little boutique hotel. The hotel is owned by a very nice young lady, who takes really care of her guests. The hotel is located in front of the Cordillera Blanca and the view from the terrace of the hotel is breathtaking! The food is very special and excellent! It is also a good... More

I just came back from visiting the Callejon de Huaylas where my boyfriend and I had the most wonderful experience at this gorgeous boutique hotel. The service was superb, the views to major ice peaks from wherever you stand were breathtaking. You can see the Huascaran mountain laying down from your bed. The comfort of the beds, down pillows, linens... More

We had a simply wonderful stay of two nights at Cuesta Serena and we can't wait to go back! The location, with views of the cordillera blanca and the valley, are amazing, but the hotel really hits it out of the park with the attention to details and From the fresh flowers in your room and bath, to the fresh... You know those other hotel/lodges you've been to in Peru? Well Cuesta Serena blows them all away in every way. Laid back yet professional staff, at-home feel, high comfort, every detail thought through, they have a eye for design (unlike what we normally see in the rest of Peru), good food, the most comfortable beds and unbeatable views of the... We felt welcomed, appreciated and supported in a major lifetime event. We have traveled all over the world. This was our first venture to altitudes like 14,500 feet. We needed some semblance of acclimation and comfort before our ascent. The owners and staff could have not been more gracious and responsive. Cuesta Serena is beautiful, ecological and supportive. Our family... More
