I stayed here while in Peru to acclimatize before my mt. bike trip in Cusco. The balcony had incredible views of the Cordillera Blanca and Negra. The good was great. I can't say enough good things about the owners. Also Julio runs a great mt. bike company and the riding is incredible!

Can't say enough good about Olaza's. It's always the people, all Huaraz locals. There is Intelligent, gentleman owner Tito and his older brother, knowledgable, personable Mt. Bike Adventure entrepreneur Julio. The young girls on staff are sweet, energetic, outgoing. Not "just" the people, either.... Ultra clean, sophisticated design and decore, it is functionally very well thought out, quiet, and organized.... More

My wife and I stayed here for a total of about 7 days, either side of a trekking trip we did in the Huayhuash region. It was perfect for us. The rooms are all comfortable (although a little poorly lit) and we didn't find it cold (thick blankets are provided just in case). The bathrooms are clean and there was... More

This is a lovely B&B. The staff are really friendly and helpful and really welcoming, the breakfasts are served on the rooftop terrace and were fab, and the rooms were simple and clean and quiet. Not too far from the Main Street in a safe area of Huaraz.

I stayed here for about a week. When I arrived late the first night not knowing much Spanish, Rosa was so nice and welcoming, showing me to my extremely clean and tidy room. Every day breakfast was great and something different and especially nice up on the rooftop terrace. I also did lots of mountain biking with Julio who was... More

This place is really great! Super friendly staff who are also very helpful in providing beta for hikes around Huaraz. They watched after after our baggage while we did the santa cruz trek, provided us info for day hikes and arranged for their super helpful / kind driver to take us to one of the further afield hikes. Also, french... More

The guest house is located in a nice and quiet residential area of Huaraz. It features a very nice roof terrace and simple, but clean, rooms. The hot water in the shower was good as well. Now, we found the two women in charge of the guest house to be very rude. This came as a surprise, as we´ve travelled... More

Highly recommended! The rooftop deck is awesome and the staff very helpful. Tito Olaza speaks great English and knows the area better than anyone. Rooms are clean and spacious with ample hot water but it books up fast, definitely reserve in advance.

This place was amazing! Short walk from the main streets, its quiet with lovely views from the roof terrace. Breakfast served up there was great, with something extra like fruit salad, awesome pancakes or eggs each day. The entire place was probably the cleanest we went to, absolutely pristine. Double room with bathroom was spacious, spotless and comfortable with a... More

We stayed at a alternative (very) local Hostal nearby for our first night in Huaraz. Next day we moved and after looking at ALL the nearby hostels we chose Olaza's. So glad we did. Spotlessly clean, comfy beds, lovely breakfast (included), brilliant chill out area and amazing views from the terrace! After using a tour agency in town for our... More
