My Wife and I just returned from our retreat at the Way Inn and we absolutely loved it! The whole experience was amazing: from staff at the resort willing to accommodate your every need, to shamans that know what they are doing and are very protective of you and very considerate of you having your best experience with Ayahuasca, to... I recently attended a 10 day retreat at the Way Inn from 4/26/15-5/5/15. In preparation, I studied their recommended diet and found a 12-day detox diet and herbal supplement program that nearly matched their recommendations. It was called Wild Rose Herbal D-Tox ("Easy 12-Day Program and Recommended Diet"). I also increased my meditation practice to twice daily to heighten my... More

Love this place! The dieta food is outstanding! They somehow manage to make the restrictive Ayahuasca diet into something actually tasty and interesting - no mean feat I can tell you. The team there are a mixture of many healing disciplines and its a powerhouse of healing. Outstanding in every aspect, loved the ayruvedic advice and yoga exercises, the optional... More

Deciding to do this retreat was one of the best decisions I have ever made. What immediately comes to mind is how amazing the shamans were. The experience of the retreat was very personal. They worked one-on-one with each person during the retreat to determine what they needed or to give some advice on a range of things, including diet,... More

In August of 2012, I was desperate for help and decided to take the Ayahuasca leap of of faith with my teenage daughter. I found The Way Inn through a friend that practices holistic healing. Words cannot express how the experience changed us both. Ayahuasca is powerful ancient plant medicine that needs to be shared in a ceremonial, responsible, knowledgable... More

I stayed 2 nights in this lovely lodge. For me it was the perfect place to get some rest, walk, think, eat!!! (The food is really good).. From huaraz a taxi Costa around 50 Soles. The lodge it self was for me as a backpacker a bit expensive. But on they end it was fully worth it! It's so beautiful... More

I stayed here for 8 days in June/July 2013 and it an astounding place - location/achetecture wise utterly brilliant - keep in mind this is a permacultur/spiritual type place built near the top of the andes mountains so if you are the type of free loading, 5 star, whinging, shallow parasite the west is seemingly festooned with these days dont... Let me tell you about The Way Inn. The owner built it himself, from scratch, over almost a decade, with the aim of creating a modern yet rustic lodge at the edge of the world and a jumping-off point for adventures in the high mountains and beyond. The Way Inn is perched on the edge of a high plateau overlooking... More

I made a reservation at the Way Inn over a month before the Easter holiday. This is a time in Peru when it is very important to make reservations in advance as places fill up quickly. The initial reservation process was simple over email and I received confirmation for my family's holiday to Huaraz. Imagine my surprise to then receive... More

We are very sorry for the cancellation but there was an issue beyond our control that required us to cancel all reservations. Turning guests away, especially during the important Semana Santa travel holiday was a very painful decision. We would really like the opportunity to make it up to you and your family and invite you to please come stay... More
