it's simple and average place. a good bed, with warm blankets and clean sheets. the room is spacious even for 2 women sharing! the bathroom is comfortable but the warm water is a matter of chance, if there is a large group and all of then decided to take shower at the same time one may be end out of... We stayed three nights in Hotel Santa Cruz. When we arrived, it was already dark and the staff helped to order dinner for us to eat in the dinning room and started a fire in the fireplace to keep us warm. We felt rather at home immediately. The room was simply but practically furnished. Love the fluffy duvet for a... More

This hotel is a little out of the main part of town, which is probably a good thing if you want a little more quiet. Some of the rooms face the street and others face the town and the mountains so ask for one of those. The views from these rooms is truly outstanding. There was a small deck and... More

Willy Corpus Garcia, manager, met our group at the bus station and made sure we were transported to the hotel We were on a mission trip and stayed the entire week. They were able to prepare breakfast and supper. The view is breathtaking and the service was exceptional.

First - willy - the manager is very helpful and knowledgeable. He really has a handle on what to do and where to go in the area. The rooms are spartan but wonderful compared to other Peruvian hotels we stayed in. Down comforters were great. Common areas are real nice - fireplace, bar, tv, music. Very fun. The best?..... The... Great place, with really bright, clean rooms, warm beds, and fantastic views over the Cordillera Blanca. The staff were very helpful with information about the town and sights and there is a good collection of books in the dining room. The downside is the location, which is a bit out of town.

I stayed here in januari when I visisted Huaraz for a few days. I arrived around at 7am with the bus but there was no problem to get already in the room without extra charge. I think I was the only one in the hotel because I didn't see any other guests, but there was always somebody in the hotel... More

We stayed in this beautifull hotel for 8 nights in oktober Rooms are great, big and clean, with balcony and norwegian comforter so you dont freeze in the night. Breakfast is amazing, everything is fresh and you get more than enough!  A nice cheerful fire was lit in the fireplace each morning. The views are breathtaking due to the location up... More

My son and his girlfriend and I stayed here several times during our adventures in the Cordillera Blanca this summer. We travelled with Respons tourism in Huaraz which I also recommend highly if you wish to get off the beaten path and see some incredible remote areas and really experience the Andean way of life. The hotel was clean with... More

We stayed in this beautifull hotel for 3 nights with a group of 7 French people and we came back from the mountains for a ´day-use´. We loved the fact that the hotel is not situated in the city-center, it is nice and quiet and has the best view over the city and on the mountains. Rooms are great, big... More
